The perfect little spot with easy access to the Community Forest, short drives to all the local sights, and friendly hosts. The place was excellently stocked with all the little things that make a spot cozy and welcoming! Would definitely stay again.

Rental was small, but fit our needs perfectly. Very clean. Only issue was street traffic next to the house that could be distracting.

Ceiling fan made a noise and I'm a lite sleeper, so did not use it. A blanket for the living area couch would be nice.

Cute place! Loved that there are a few redwood trees on the grounds. So close to a hidden gem- Arcata community forest!! The best pictures from my whole trip are from the park/trailhead just down the street!!! I missed the check in email (totally on me), but they texted me back right away. I had no issues the rest of the time so I didn’t really need to reach them, but I think that’s a sign they put in a lot of effort beforehand. I had a mid-size SUV and it fit perfectly in the spot, but I wouldn’t recommend a truck or trailer. It also right next to a somewhat main road, so loud cars/trucks were sometimes annoying. The road noise was a small trade off for the great location.

Compact, comfortable spot with an entrance to the Arcata Community Forest just about a block away. Sarah (the landlady) lives close by and is very easy to reach and responsive. We'll be back!

The property manager was absolutely outstanding. Communication was impeccable – responsive and individualized. The place was spotless and extremely comfortable. I am quite chemically sensitive and this place was a perfect fit for me. I did bring my own soaps and dish soap. Beautiful location and very convenient couldn’t be better.

Cozy, friendly place!

We loved our stay; the studio was its own separate building so we had privacy but also room on the patio to relax. Cute, comfortable, place that had everything we needed for a nice visit.

The place was perfect for our visit. Walking distance to Humboldt campus and downtown. Cute little cottage with all the appropriate accommodations to make for a lovely stay. The property managers were quick to respond to any questions we had. We met the property owner as well who was lovely and made us feel very welcome. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a nice spot close to downtown Arcata.

This was an adorable well kept unit moments away from the Arcata Community forest. It had a small kitchenette, which was perfect for small meals, a grill outside for bigger ones and a very comfortable bed. I would highly recommend it, especially if you like to wake up and take a walk among the redwoods.

Awesome stay on Arcata!

The property was perfect for a place for two located close to town. The trails right across the street in the community forest were beautiful for my morning walks and everything we needed was right in the area.
