Great place for our family vacation. Just far enough out of town to enjoy the peace and quiet of the woods but close enough to Lead and Deadwood to go enjoy activities and food. The cabin could use some upgrades and a deep cleaning, but other than that we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

Family Vacation

We had a great stay. This rental was able to easily accommodate our larger family. Everything we needed was there and it was a great location to explore the Black Hills.

The cabin had plenty of space for an extended family getaway. It easily fit 8 adults and 2 children. The area is gorgeous and we very much enjoyed time out on the deck. The house could use some maintenance work and some deep cleaning. We felt like we could not use the hot tub due to the appearance of the water. There was also an instance where two mice were on a glue trap at the bottom of the stairs. My partner had to put it outside, but it was hard to see. The house did not have everything as listed. For example, no Amazon fire sticks on tvs or hair dryer. Overall, we had a good time, but the house could use some work. It has a lot of potential with some maintenance.

Relaxing getaway and great homebase for travel

We wanted a relaxing and cozy cabin feel, and we wanted it to be central to locations we wanted to visit, including Mount Rushmore and Devil’s Tower. This was the perfect place for us! Plenty of comfy beds, everything we needed and more! Communications with the owner were quick and easy. Highly recommended if you want a stay in the Black Hills.

Three couples, plenty of room for all. Close to Deadwood for us to go to Wild Bill Days. Nice deck for morning sitting. Good communication with host. Worked out great! Even saw the local wildlife.
