Welcome to your next home away from home ASPEN SUMMIT. This beautiful cabin built in 2018 is nestled on a hilltop surrounded by Aspen and Pine trees just 5 miles from Deadwood.
Aspen Summit sits on 9 SECLUDED acres with one of the most stunning views of the surrounding hills you will find. You won't see multiple cabins from our decks, just incredible views of the beautiful Black Hills. Located in the heart of the northern Black Hills where recreation is abundant. Just a short 10-15 minute drive from your next home away from home you can enjoy Terry Peak, Spearfish Canyon, Boulder Canyon and Lead/Deadwood.

There is taxi service to the property from Deadwood where you'll be sure to enjoy the local nightlife, restaurants and events all year long. In about an hour you can enjoy Mt. Rushmore, Hill City, Keystone, Custer State Park, and the Southern Black Hills.

After enjoying all the local adventures , you'll be happy to come back home to your very own local cabin. You will frequently see wildlife around the cabin and amazing sunrises over the mountain. Enjoy the seasonal stream surrounded by aspen trees along the road to Aspen Summit and view starry skies like you've never seen before all from your very own home away from home.

With 3 bedrooms, you'll have enough room for up to 8 people. The master bedroom has a king log bed, TV and a private bath. There is a queen log bed and TV in the 2nd bedroom and a queen bed plus twin bunk beds in the 3rd bedroom. Everything is on one level, so you will enjoy the convenience for everyone in your group.

Stainless steel appliances accent the rustic kitchen with a cozy fireplace and big screen TV sharing the open living area.

The all wood interior and rustic double covered porches along with the breathtaking views and seclusion will give you the true Black Hills Cabin experience.

We welcome you to your new favorite home away from home, ASPEN SUMMIT!
4WD/AWD needed for winter access.
Trailers not recommended. No A/C at the property.

Ahmazing property!!

If you’re looking for beautiful views, quiet mornings and you just want to be in the woods!! This is the place. The host was great with communication and very helpful. Definitely will be coming back

Easter get away

Cabin was very nice and well equipped, we spent three days relaxing in peace and quiet. The hot tub was perfect to sit in while it snowed. We had cell service, so the kids could use their phones. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Amazing Escape!

The cabin is in a great location, off the beaten path, but still close enough to civilization! Beautiful views!! Very clean with all the amenities we needed. Highly recommended!

Perfect for families exploring the Black Hills

We fell in loved with all SD has to offer while making this our base camp. This has the best of both worlds with being off the beaten path yet close to Deadwood and short distance from most attractions. We did not want to leave!

Relaxing Week

Absolutely loved the location, out away from most everything. Cabin was very clean upon arrival. Everything worked, extra fans in all the closets. No A/C might be a problem in the summer months. Deer, squirrel, chipmunks and turkey were our neighbors. Would definitely stay again.

Cozy Cabin

This cozy cabin was perfect for our family of 5. It sleeps 8 and we could have easily accommodated that. The location was just under 2 miles off the main road and very quiet and peaceful. We had quick access to Lead and Deadwood.

Outstanding. Right between Deadwood and Lead not so close but adventuresome to get too. Had a great remote feeling. Beautiful views. Well furnished. The hot tub was enjoyed.

Spectacular view

Quite location, beautiful scenery in every direction of our daily travels to: Mount Rushmore, Crazy horse ,Devils tower, Custer natural park, Caves, Sturgis & daily visit it Lead coffee shop & Dakotamart. Local Pizza Lab amazing (gluten free available) Bonus Deadwood right down the hill also daily visits for browsing or Stagecoach ride. Kid friendly, beautiful location

Remote cabin

Cabin was very nice and remote. The fireplace didn’t work very well. Overall we really enjoyed the place. Just one thing to note the smell of the water and drain is typical of the Black Hills and not very good. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Gorgeous views!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had 7 of us stay for my sister's bachelorette party and it was amazing. Owner was super nice and the cabin was clean and had great amenities! Would for sure stay again!

Peace

My friend and I stayed at this property during peak winter. The fireplace kept the inside cozy, the hot tub helped us relax after snowshoeing, and the snowy views were spectacular. Further, this is the best stocked kitchen of any vacation rental we've been to. We had fun cooking up big meals. We hope to return in the future (when the world is in a healthier and more peaceful place).

Nice cabin, bring bottled water, hot tub has troubles

Very nice cabin well equipped, we won't rent again due to a few issues like the hotbtub worked intermittently and the water is so high in sulfer that showering made us smell bad.

Awesome Sunrise!

Great cabin in a great location with awesome sunrises. While there are no cabins visible, there are cleared building sites close by (future cabins). One of them had people camping who were quite noisy into the night with loud ATv's driving by the cabin (also late into the night). This only occurred our last night. First two nights were very quiet.

Great property, amazing views

This is a great place to stay. Would stay there again for sure. Sunrise views are amazing. Very quiet place. Saw a few deer in the mornings and evenings. Like others have said the water does have a different smell. Not the worse thing in the world. Only reason I can not give it 5 stars is because being stocked with 3/4 roll of paper towels and 3 rolls of toilet paper for a week with a family of 6 was no where near enough. I ended up grabbing some in town to get us through our vacation. Other than that it was a fantastic property!

road steepness and hard to turn trailer around

Spray for bugs/spiders, inside and outside of cabin foundation. Road steepness going up, had to put in 4 wheel drive. Parking space not big enough to turn around with enclosed trailer, back in only. Perfect view, so calm and quiet up there!
