Crosslake offers tons of activities, whether you are interested in swimming, boating, paddle boarding, canoeing, golfing, miniature golf, hiking, biking, skating, skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, or sledding. Enjoy the miles of the trails, the acres of the Whitefish Chain, or just stay at the cabin and relax. Close out your evening with s’mores by the fire pit.

The place provided our family with a first hand experience on the WF chain. We had a party of 7 and everyone had a comfortable bed. We had a group of 17 year old boys who enjoyed the loft with many bed options. Although the location of the cabin is right at an intersection of two main roads, which comes with expected traffic, we enjoyed our 5 mile wooded morning walks inside the peninsula. This was a great discovery for us and we very much enjoyed it. One big surprise for us was the condition of the beach by the house, which also impacted our ability to manage our boat and play with our dog on the beach without getting very muddy. However, we soon discovered a local sandy beach near by and were able to take our dog there for a few swims. The kids caught some bass off the docks and enjoyed host’s kayaks and a small row boat while doing some more lake fishing. Overall it was a fun experience for everyone.

Wonderful Family Cabin

Our family stayed here for a long weekend and had plenty of room to gather or spend time apart if needed. The amenities made for a fun and entertaining time. We enjoyed watching deer graze outside the windows and spending time viewing the lake.

Lake Retreat Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at this property! We were able to fish off the dock and enjoy beautiful lake views! The shoreline to the home is fairly level for ease of access and there was a firepit right off the lake to enjoy making s'mores while watching the sunset!

White Fish Chain Roomy Cabin

Access to the whitefish chain, hot tub, fire pit, great deck & ping pong table/pac man machine are great! The cabin is roomy & clean. Close to many restaurants. Great for a family vacation! The owners were incredibly kind & responsive!

Golf day

We stayed at this nice large cabin on a Saturday night between rounds of golf with friends on Saturday and Sunday. It was the perfect spot, plenty of room and an easy location. The lake view was great.

Manhattan Drive

Overall stay was good. House was clean however online pictures should be updated as in person the property is more worn and the docks are worn as well. It is a nice bay so that boat and jet skis were protected. House is close to streets so could hear traffic.

Short Stay

We only had time for a short stay but enjoyed all the property had to offer. The kids loved catching as many little pan fish off the dock as they wanted, along with a few larger fish! It was a quick drive for any groceries or supplies we needed. The cabin was well stocked with everything else!!

The place was very nice and clean, comfortable beds. Only small concern were that some rooms were very cold and could not warm up. It was extremely cold outside but did enjoy the hot tub after a long day of ice fishing.

Sister’s Getaway

We had a great couple of days at Sunny Pancake. The house had everything we needed and was well equipped as advertised. Sound of loons each day was a wonderful bonus. Loved sitting on deck enjoying a glass (or two) of wine. We will return.

Great week long vacation!

4 of us stayed for a week, plenty of room for 6 more people. Super comfy beds, Great location, beautiful scenery. Cabin had everything we needed and then some. We only went out to supper once and cooked/grilled the rest of our meals. Our evening dips in the hot tub were amazing. Nice sandy beach was installed our first day there. The boat lift is for pontoon, we brought our ski boat and tied it to the dock and felt very protected. I would not hesitate to book this cabin again with extended family :)

Annual girls weekend

This home was perfect for hosting my 13th Annual Girls Weekend! Plenty of room for everyone, lots of options for keeping guests entertained. Location couldn’t be better! Be careful on inside stairs. I slipped down a couple in socks and broke a toe. We will definitely be back though!
