our host Matthew was wonderful. We were able to communicate with him all the time. He left us some special items when we arrived, and my family totally enjoyed our stay there.We celebrated a special birthday for my husband and it will be a weekend we won't forget for a long time and we thank our host very much. Its a great location and filled with lots of amenities.

Exceptional! Will definitely stay here again next summer. Such a cool and cozy feel. Host thought of everything! Made us feel welcome, was available any time. Took us 30 minutes to arrive at sleeping bear dunes from property, but it is worth it to stay in this secluded & quiet home. Great beaches nearby property.

My family really enjoyed our stay! The host was very helpful and easy to communicate with. The place was very clean and it accommodated five adults well. I highly recommend it.

Our family of 3 adult children and two dogs enjoyed this spacious, super clean, cozy, quiet and comfortable home away from home! We loved the location. The backyard was amazing and we enjoyed the kitchen amenities, the grill and the coffee. Thank you for recommending places to go around the area. Thank you for making sure we had all we needed.

We had the best time at the Sugar Chalet. It was in a very quiet neighborhood and was very warm and inviting. It was super clean and very comfortable. The proximity to so many great towns, restaurants, beaches and hiking trails makes ot a perfect place to stay. Matthew was very responsive when we had questions, gave us lots of suggestions on places to go for our stay, and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back!

This is a great place! If you need a hub for up north activities, this is your place. The location provides a nice place for your down time after a busy day. The host was great, very accommodating. We would stay here in again without question.

This place was so great! It was really nice having a bathroom on each floor as well. We took full advantage of the projector Downstairs and was able to have a fabulous little weekend away! Will be booking again!

We had such a wonderful stay! The house was incredibly clean and exactly as described. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish, which made everything very easy. The location was perfect for our girls trip—close to everything but still peaceful and relaxing. The home had three spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms, which gave everyone plenty of space. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the coffee bar was such a fun bonus in the mornings. We would absolutely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Chalet. The home is very comfortable and it was close to family that lives nearby. While the reason for our stay was very sad, our niece's celebration of life service, it helped to have a peaceful, quiet and relaxing place to retreat to. We will definitely look into staying here again.

We had an amazing stay at the chalet and can’t wait to go back again! The place was stocked with lots of extras like a coffee bar, items for our dogs, and toys for our little just to name a few of the amazing extras. The beds were really comfortable too. We will definitely stay here again and the host is amazing! Thanks for making our stay special!

We’ve stayed up near the n-22 route the last 8 years. This property is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. The host was incredibly accommodating and thought of every little detail to make our stay feel personalized. The house was great for kids and the adults! We would recommend this property to everyone!

Wonderful Stay!

We stay at this property while visiting the Sleeping Bear Dunes. It was a wonderful location. The house was really well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. The owners really have thought of a lot of really thoughtful touches to make it such an great place to stay.

Stayed a weekend here with 3 couples and 2 toddlers. The house layout worked perfect for our group with us each having our own floor and bathroom. The kitchen is very well appointed with great cookware and utensils. Thoughtful touches throughout coffee/to go cups/welcome treats/shampoo/toothpaste/detergent and some condiments - things that is was so nice to not have to purchase for just a weekend. Have to admit was taken aback pulling into the property as the front porch and eaves are in disrepair and cluttered with broken down furniture. Inside is an improvement on that. Note loft bedroom has privacy curtains but is definitely a loft open to the living area below. Grateful for our stay!

Amazing times and lodging!

We loved our stay at the house. It was close to the beaches and wineries that we like to go to! This was a really tranquil setting and I slept better than I have in years at this house.
