Waterfront beach house. 5 min from Traverse City. Private Sandy beach.

This waterfront home is 2200 square ft with 5 bedrooms and 4 baths. There are 4 king beds, 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds. This house sleeps 10 comfortably and is a great layout for larger groups. The kitchen has a great layout as well with plenty of room for a buffet style family dinner. Featuring granite countertops and 2 dish washers to make cleanup a breeze. Also if you want to sit down for a family dinner there is dining space for 10 people. Other great amenities include Central air, back patio with a charcoal grill and a large fenced back yard for your dog as well.
The location can’t get much better being only 3 miles from Traverse city and a half a mile from Traverse city Yacht club and Marina. We are also only 20 min from Sleeping Bear dunes and Empire beach. Other activities in the area include golfing, boating, wine tasting, shopping, 2 casinos, kayaking, biking etc...

The location is very nice and the host responded quickly to any question,. The house needs to be updated and cleaned better. The road in front is very busy to cross over to the beach but we enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay. The home suited us very well. Our two sons were there with their wives and a total of three grandchildren (one 3-year-old, two 5-year-old twins). There are five bedrooms total in three clusters (two 2-bedrooms with bathrooms, one 1-bedroom with bathroom) so it was easy to keep some distance during naps, bedtime, etc. Two dishwashers and a fenced backyard for play outside were also pluses.

Perfect house for our group!

We had a family group of 9 adults and 1 infant. We loved having 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Plenty of space to fit our needs and spread out. Property is close to wineries and breweries we visited. Also several fishing areas close to house. Nice backyard space! If in the area again, we would certainly like to stay here.

Up North escape

Great house and location. Hosts were great to work with. We enjoyed our stay and made beautiful memories. Pup friendly property and our dog enjoyed his stay too.

Good Location and Family Sized

Numerous nearby restaurants made mealtimes easy. Large family sized log cabin home afforded a family reunion for our stay.

Traverse City Dream Stay

Our stay was as good as we could have imagined since the 5 bedrooms and 4 full baths were the perfect accommodation for 4 couples. The fenced in yard was ideal for the dog and the lake across the street made the location even that much more fun. We had a fire by on the beach or in the backyard every evening. We hope to stay there again since we travel to TC more than once per year.

Sister Trip

My sister's and I stayed here for our annual trip. The location was wonderful! It's on a busy street but we never heard traffic inside the cabin and in the back, on the deck it was also nice and quiet. You're close to Sutton's Bay as well as Traverse City! The host was readily available for any questions. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!!

Perfect for a weekend group getaway.

Stayed with a group of friends for a long Memorial Day weekend. Property was very centrally located, clean and spacious enough for everyone to have their own bedroom and bathroom areas which we all enjoyed. Host was very cordial and accommodating as well. This was my first time using VRBO but this stay has definitely sold me on how well it functions for larger groups. I would definitely recommend this property and be willing to stay again.

Friends wine trip - 9 adults

Plenty of room for 4 couples and one additional adult. Worked perfect for pick up for our wine tour but also a great spot to hangout when the tour was done. We had space in the house, enjoyed the beach across the street, and also had a fire in the back yard. We would definitely stay here again!

Wine Tasting - Friends Weekend

We were a group of ten in TC for wine tasting. The house was clean, conveniently located and plenty of room for the ten of us. Beautiful view of the lake with lake access and a fire pit right across the street. The owners were very nice and easy to communicate with.

Fun Weekend Trip

This was a great place to stay for the weekend. A quick trip into town to go to a couple restaurants, visit The Village, get some cider, and celebrate a birthday. It was easy to bring luggage and groceries in and out with just a couple stairs between the driveway and door.

Perfect Location!

Weekend trip with a group of friends. The house is set up perfectly for large gatherings. Watching the sunrise over the water was a fabulous way to start the day.

Perfect Accommodation for Daughter’s Wedding Weekend

This house was the perfect size for family who came to town for my daughter’s wedding in Traverse City. She even baked her wedding cake in the kitchen! We very much appreciated the location (close to shopping for last minute needs) and would definitely recommend this home.
