Fishtown Lodge - Cozy Leland Log Cabin Home - Quiet location but close to town

Enjoy the true Leelanau experience in our centrally located custom log home! Located just outside downtown Leland and Fishtown - the harbor, shops, public beaches and many hiking and biking trails of Leland are just around the corner. However the home's property at the end of a wooded cul de sac still feels quiet and secluded.

Our log cabin home has 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths, with a bedroom/full bath on each level - making it a perfect place to host up to 3 couples or a multi-generational family. There is a main floor master bedroom, large upstairs loft with a queen bed plus bunks, and fully finished walk out basement with the third bedroom and a family room/TV room. We love to cook and use the vacation home ourselves, so you will find the kitchen well stocked - not your typical rental kitchen.

Great for families and stocked with a Pack 'n Play, baby gates, high chair and games. The TV includes a Roku stick with YouTubeTV and more, plus Sonos wifi speakers on two levels. And we welcome your well behaved pets too!

In the summertime enjoy the large deck, outdoor furniture, fire pit and Weber charcoal grill. In the winter, cozy up under a blanket with the wood stove or take a soak in the master jetted tub.

Located in the heart of the Leelanau Peninsula, Fishtown Lodge has easy access to Northport, Sutton's Bay, Traverse City and Glen Arbor. Enjoy the areas many wineries, breweries and restaurants or beaches, hiking and biking trails.

Beautiful home. Absolutely everything you could need while away from home. The location is excellent. There are so many places and things to do that are within just a few miles…..you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful home in a beautiful part of the world. Extremely close to downtown Leland while also being tucked away on a quiet street. Great home base for excursions to Sleeping Bear, Traverse City, and places throughout the Leelanau Peninsula.

This property is a wonderful log cabin about 1/2 a mile north of Leland. It’s quiet and peaceful and pet friendly. Close to the beach and has restaurants and shops 1/2 a mile away. If you want a larger city Traverse City is 20 minutes away. You have Northport and Suttons Bay 10-15 minutes away. You have small town convenience (no long waits at restaurants with big city feel with all the shops around.

Mike was an excellent host. The property is well maintained. I've rented a lot of properties and this one has the best kitchen for appliances and gadgets. I would highly recommend it.

The lodge is clean and very comfortable with a lot of space for a group. We enjoyed the large deck. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking meals. The bathrooms are nice sized and styled well.

Perfect weekend getaway

We had such a great time while staying at this property. It fit all our needs and was so close to many of the places we wanted to visit. Everything was just as promised and the host was great at communicating with us promptly. We would stay again without question!

We had a wonderful stay. Owner was prompt I. Responding to questions. House was super clean and in a nice quiet location close to town and the beach. We would definitely stay there again!

Leland Gem

This property is close to town and the lakes. It is very pretty and comfortable! Lots of space and amenities. The kitchen is well stocked. Owner answered all my questions and was super easy to work with. Everything was clean and so nice!

We have been coming to Leelanau for years and love everything about it. We first stayed in this home as a rental before purchasing it as a vacation home. It is a great place to relax and enjoy everything that Leelanau has to offer, and we are happy to share it with you!

This home is great for families, with a bedroom and full bath on every floor. The basement is fully carpeted and great for kids. The log cabin, wood stove and stone chimney vibe can't be beat. We love to cook so the kitchen is well-stocked, not your typical rental kitchen.
