A great small house to spend a week vacation in. Very nice people who are quick to respond and help with any questions you have. There are stairs we had to block off because we have two kids but that’s pretty much any house! Very great experience!

Family vaca

We had such nice weather and the location cannot be beat! Short walk to town where we had coffee overlooking the harbor and such great shops and restaurants - will be back!

Property exactly as described. Lovely old and renovated home. Easy walk in to town. Great communications w host and very accommodating im every way. Loved our short visit to Camden and the area. Still early in the season over Memorial Day, so weather was quite cool. Very different from home. Thanks you!

Comfortable in Camden

Our first visit to Camden , ME. House in a lovely residential neighborhood about a 15 minute walk to downtown Camden. Excellent restaurants and fun shops. And beautiful harbor!

Great host and location

Able to make several day trips including Bar Harbor. Enjoyed a beautiful 3 hr sailboat cruise out of Camden harbor!! We lovely the clean 1920s cottage in a great location as we were able to walk to breakfast at the harbor.

Great house, great location

Camden weekend stay

Fabulous stay in Camden! Location is perfect for everything you may need. Short walk to town and short drive to many day trips. Kris was a wonderful host and the communication and suggestions were very appreciated.

Charming home and comfortable. Seems completely renovated in recent past. Very close to center of Camden on foot which is a great village to visit and get to know. Excellent communications with owner. Would come back in a heartbeat!!

Perfect home for a vacation

We have traveled quite a bit and always rent a home, this house was absolutely perfect everything was thought of for a comfortable stay. The house was in a quiet neighborhood and we could walk to downtown and shopping . Kris was very attentive as a host, we loved everything about our time in Camden.

This was our third stay at this gorgeously appointed cottage. Each time we visit, we find new improvements and special touches that make our stay even more perfect. We love the eat-in kitchen which has everything you might need in terms of appliances and tools. The hosts have truly thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and effortless. The check in and check out processes were as smooth as could be, and the hosts are very responsive and have great information and suggestions to make the most of the visit. The location is ideal - close enough so that it's an easy walk to town - but far enough away from the hustle and bustle so that you can enjoy a quiet neighborhood. The back porch is a delightful spot to sip your morning coffee and the living room is spacious and comfortable for relaxing, watching movies, or playing board games. The two full bathrooms are large and spotless, with the downstairs one containing a generous tub - perfect for a luxurious soak after a day of hiking on nearby Mount Battie. Our family has made many wonderful vacation memories thanks to the terrific hosts and their lovely home.

Comfortable mid coast home

My wife and I had a wonderful week’s stay working from this house. It was convenient for exploring the midcoast area of Camden, Rockport, Rockland, Lincolnville, etc. as well. Quiet neighborhood. Everything we needed!

Great house, great neighborhood

We really enjoyed staying in this clean, comfortable, and spacious house, and we particularly appreciated that the kitchen was well appointed since we cooked dinner several night during our weeklong stay. We also loved exploring the area and using this house as our home base. None of us had spent time in this area before and we found lots of things to do like hikes at nearby trails and even the ferry over to Islesboro for a day. Our best meal was at Franny’s Bistro in Camden - highly recommend it, and make reservations!

Labor Day Week Getaway

Thoroughly enjoyed the holiday and week following with our family. The house is well appointed in a quiet and convenient village location within walking distance to Camden's downtown and harbor. You can't beat Camden as a base to explore the Midcoast, Acadia and beyond. Highly recommend this property and its owner for your next trip to Camden, we're already planning ours. Best Andy

Beautiful house in the perfect location

We loved staying in the gorgeous house and felt so comfortable coming back every day. After a day of hiking/exploring it was great to sit round the table, have a meal, play some games and relax for the evening with the wood burner making it extra cosy. We even introduced our English friends to s’mores around the fire pit one episode. Kris was an excellent host and his communication was always prompt and detailed.

Delightful Camden Cottage

We had a wonderful week at this lovely home, only a short walk from Camden Harbor. The house is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen is fully stocked if you wish to cook. The owners have truly thought of everything to make it feel like a "home away from home." They also had great recommendations for restaurants and activities. Everything was just perfect and we are very grateful to have spent our vacation in such a lovely place.

Perfect Maine Experience

We booked the property after cancelling our hotel stay so that our family of 5 could stretch out and have space. This was the perfect property. The house was extremely clean. It had the charm of a 100 year old house with luxury of updated bathrooms and kitchen. We sat on the screened porch every night and morning to take advantage of the cool Maine temps. Short 10 minute walk to Main St. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Family Christmas Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely revamped cottage. Had everything we needed and was able to prepare home cooked meals for Christmas. The owner reached out before our arrival to welcome us and was very responsive. Camden is a great little town and in the middle of all our favorite coastal Maine places. Extra points for being right down the road from the Camden Snow Bowl - the kids had a blast snowboarding and skiing our last day! Oh, and the water in the bathrooms get hot and stay hot! Loved it!

Paradise in Camden

We had a fantastic week in this fully-appointed, beautiful home. The rooms are decorated with comfortable furniture and antiques. Located in a quintiessential Camden neighborhood, the house in walking distance to the center of town with a plethora of shops and a nice range of restaurants—offering Maine lobster to Thai cuisine. There is so much to do in the area with the harbor, nearby lakes, and wonderful walking trails. All of this made for a wonderful, relaxing week. Thanks again, Kris!

Another Five Star Experience

We enjoyed our second summer at this gorgeous home. Everything was a perfect as we remembered it. The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable, and we love taking advantage of the fully equipped kitchen. The owners have thought of every detail to make our stay wonderful. It is the ideal location for the many different activities we love in Maine - from hiking to boating to beach trips -- and an easy 10 minute walk into town. We appreciated the owners' recommendations for things to do in Camden. They are truly exceptional hosts!

Maine charm

Kris has clearly put a lot of thought into creating this home away from home. Modern renovated bathrooms and amenities, but kept the charm of an older Maine home. My stepfather, who was born and raised in the area, was so enamored with the place, and he is not easy to please! He is now a retired senior, and walked down to Camden harbor each morning to see what was happening on the water, rain or shine. The location was great. Part of the charm are the floors which are a bit uneven going room to room, but easily navigated by small children and older seniors. May be challenging for someone with limited mobility. On site laundry/dryer was a godsend! Also had a well stocked kitchen that we used to cook most meals including lobster bakes, grilled steaks, and Maine hot dogs (no ketchup). Kris was responsive and gracious with our questions - quick to help and offer tips for our stay. My parents asked when we should come back!
