Those less adventuresome can drive to the top via the Mount Battie State Park entrance. Either way the reward is a marvelous view of the harbor, bay, and outlying islands. My husband, Keith, grew up on the coast of Maine, therefore it was inevitable we would eventually own a house in Maine--although we live and work in Florida! We love our time in Camden and believe anyone who visits will also fall in love with the area. If you love nature, hiking, kayaking, sailing--or just enjoying the beautiful northeast climate and scenery--we urge you to spend some time in Camden and surrounding midcoast Maine! -Michelle & Keith
