Welcome to The Stauffer House! This historical home offers character, tranquility and a great location. Built in 1848, The Stauffer House comes with history, while still including all the modern amenities. It also has a Carriage House on it that goes with the listing, that way you have the whole place completely to yourself. It's located just 10 minutes from all the Hershey attractions. It’s listed on the “National Register of Historic Places” and just won the 2023 Historic Preservation award! This family-friendly home will help make your vacation comfortable and memorable.

House and grounds were very clean and comfortable. Host response to questions was fast and helpful. Layout of the house would have been helpful. 4 bedrooms upstairs share 1 master bathroom. 1 bedroom in basement with full bathrooms. The 6th bedroom was in the cottage with full bathroom and small kitchen. Everything was great! Would come back if in the area again.

Amazing historical property! Lots of room, and so much space outside. Awesome to also have a coach house. Basement is like its own apartment! Ample parking. Wish we had more time to spend there and not so busy. Owner was friendly and communicative. Road noise can be a bit loud during the day, but at night was fine. Beds were smaller than we were accustomed to sleeping in. Would most definitely book again.

Great short-term place for a large family to visit Hershey, PA. Beautiful, historic home with comfortable beds and bedding, plenty of parking, and at a reasonable price versus the cost of 3-4 hotel rooms. Outdoor landscaping is beautiful with pool and lots of loungers, tables, chairs and umbrellas. Our host was quick to reply to all questions. Can't go wrong by renting this one-of-a-kind property.

Our host could not have done more. The house is gorgeous - beautifully decorated and well-stocked with everything you need in the kitchen. Our large family of 11 people enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner there and it fit us perfectly. Would happily stay there again and wish we could’ve stayed longer!

We enjoyed family fun with the fantastic pool and backyard area. The interior is a beautifully restored historical property with an abundance of charm. We were pleased to find that the reviews were spot on and we thank the owners for allowing us to stay at their property.

Really nice house

We enjoyed our time at the home in December. Hershey is just down the street with plenty of places to eat. We would stay here again. 6 adults, 2 youngsters and 2 babes. Owners excellent to work with.

Weekend Ren Faire Getaway

Three day getaway with 9 adults ranging from 19-59. The house was perfect for us. Very clean, spacious and convenient to Ren Faire and Hershey. We had a blast and would rent here again. The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive.

Great Time

Home was neat and clean. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay as we were in town for a wedding. Plenty of room for a large family, the pool was a big hit. Cody was an excellent host!

The historic home is beautifully restored. The home accommodated our group of 12 perfectly. Special touches made our stay very comfortable.
