Perfect Cape Cod location

Edward was great and was easy to get a hold of through out my stay. Perfect if you looking for a family gateway in the Cape!

Great stay

The place was very cute! Would definitely book again. Wish the outdoor shower worked. Edward was very responsive and helpful.

Cape Cod Find

This was a great property for a couple and their 2 adult single siblings. It is in a great little quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees but still very close to all activities. Host was very responsive. Loved our stay and would return again

We enjoyed our stay at Nestled by Nauset. Edward was very communicative and helpful prior to and throughout our trip. It was great to have beach towels and chairs to use each day. The house is located very close to Nauset, as well as the many restaurants and shops in Orleans. My teenagers enjoyed the outdoor shower and we appreciated the little extra touches left by our host.

Perfect and ideal location!

I’m originally from this area and this is prime location. Easily walk to Nauset Farms or go for a run down to the beach. Quiet, friendly, respectful neighborhood. Lots of room in the house and the host was super kind, communicative, and easy to work with. Would recommend to anyone. Great family space and we loved the back patio.

Beautiful house in nice location

This 3 BR house had everything you could need. No need to bring bedding, beach or bath towels or beach chairs. Everything was in good condition with high end appliances. Edward was a great host and was easily reached for anything we needed..

Great location, very clean house with all the amenities…

Edward is a great host, communicating well with us, and giving us information to enjoy your stay. The house was just we wanted, with a brand new grill, nice backyard, and plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked. All good for us!

Convenient to all

This was our first time staying in Orleans. We selected this property due to its location to restaurants, shopping and close access to beaches in Eastham, which my family enjoys. Edward made sure that we had everything that you may need while away on vacation. From house hold appliances, to toiletries, towels for bath and beach, as well as beach chairs. The house has plenty of room to spread out so you don’t feel confined if you happen to catch a rainy day. Some places to eat I would recommend are The Barley Neck, La Bella Vita, Whisk, The Rail, The Corner Store, Smithy’s Ice Cream, as well the Ice Cream Cafe. There are many options on the Cape. However these are all in close proximity to the property.

Disappointed

The property had a musty mildew odor as soon as they open the door, black moles on the ceiling in the bathroom and in the family room good night enjoy the outdoor deck because of the dirt pollen Pineneedles leaves grill was dirty. Windows had not been cleaned in a while the washing machine did not spin, clothes out spiders in two bedrooms my wife found two in our bed the first night very disappointed

We realize people have a lot of choice selecting homes for vacation and we strive to give guests the best experience possible. For the benefit of people reading your review, we would like to provide some context. Prior to all guests' arrival, I provide my cellphone number for contact anytime, for any questions, or concerns. You called my cell prior to your arrival and asked for early check-in, which I mentioned was not a problem. I also offered late check out. I reached out to you via text to during your stay and did not receive any communication from you until two days after you departed. We are fortunate to have a home in a serene location, nestled by beautiful trees, close to the beach. Pine needles, pollen, spiders are part of the natural landscape. With respect to the mold, once you told us, we went to the house and found out that a pipe root was broken and caused a leak resulting in a small mold spot. Also the back deck and grill were clean. You told us about the issues late afternoon 6/10 and they were resolved within days. The appliances in the home are new. The washer and dryer leverage smart technology. Had you reached out to me with any of your concerns when you arrived, I would have resolved them in a timely manner. We have had many wonderful guests stay in our home in the past and are accustomed to open and transparent communication.

Nicely Nestled

"Nestled by Nauset" proved to be a capacious, charming, comfortable, and well situated rental property. My wife and I had whisked away my sight-and-hearing impaired, 95-year-old mother-in-law for a week on the Cape. She welcomed this escape from the confines of her small apartment and quickly adjusted to the space, which includes a couple of raised thresholds and one step up from the dining room to the parlor. (Yes! there's a parlor with a fireplace in addition to the huge living room!) By day 2, she felt completely at home. We enjoyed the rear deck and the tree-shaded grounds. Cooking in the kitchen was a breeze. The beds were comfy, and the quiet neighborhood encouraged sound sleeping. Once up and around, we found we could drive to Orleans town center in five minutes; and, of course, Orleans itself is ideally placed for access to both the north and west reagions of Cape Cod. Our host, Edward, was remarkably responsive, helpful, and courteous, Irish charm on full display. He and his wife have done a smashing job .All the appliances are up-to-date. Flooring is new throughout. Ceiling fans grace most of the rooms, as do mini-split air condiitioners, though the latter are not working just yet. Until they're finished, the many window air conditioners do a more than adequate job. We'd love to return one day and see how this place evolves. Meanwhile, you should jump on it if you're visiting marvellous Cape Cod!
