Enjoyable stay with family

2nd time we stay at this house, it's perfect for our multiple families from various states getting together. Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub and adults enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, positive for all. Will stay here again!

Great stay

The home was beautiful and spacious. The host responded to me immediately when I reached out. I will definitely book this home again when I visit Jacksonville.

Nice home

It was a large home with all amenities. We enjoyed our stay. Home did smell a bit of mold but I assumed that it was from the Florida summer heat.

Jacksonville trip

The house was perfect for our family of eight. We really enjoyed the pool and outdoor spaces, our 3 year old grandson and our adult kids spent hours swimming and playing games in the patio area. The house is also conveniently located to beaches and restaurants.

The property was great the pool was heated and when you just need a place to just relax this is the place to go.... The host is awesome... I will be booking again

Family Trip

Our family enjoyed our stay at this home, the homeowner was very responsive on any questions we had. They heated the pool before we got there and the children were able to hop in the pool as soon as we walked in the door. This location if very close to the beach and the zoo and a boat landing, which was perfect for our family. I would come back to this home again!

Big house with Pool in Jacksonville

Nice place, good size house for large group. Good location. Outside grounds a big plus--there is a hot-tub, and pool and lots of screen porches with couches to sit. Outside there is BBQ and dining table with lots of chairs and firepit. Quiet street. Beach 5 to 10 minutes. Overall, very good stay.

Golf Trip Year 3

Third year in a row my friends and I have traveled to Jacksonville for a golf trip. First year staying at this property and it was fantastic! The hot tub was not working properly the first couple of days but it was quickly resolved. Kitchen was well equipped and outdoor area was wonderful. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Will definitely be returning to this place!

Nice getaway spot for families

This property has all that your family needs. Lots of space for larger parties traveling together and very nice for kids. The location was close to all that we needed to access. The pool and hot tub were great and widely used by my family. Look out for the step down into the living room and into the in-law suite area. The bunk bed is in an above loft area that would not be best for smaller kids but great for kids about 7 and older. Overall my family loved this place and would book again.

FL trip for daughter's wedding

The owner is very responsive. We happened to be there during an unusual cold snap so the pool heater could not keep up. Buket responded immediately and was more than willing to refund our money to heat the pool. If renting in Dec, be aware the neighborhood goes all out with decorations which brings in traffic. If you have little ones, it is spectacular.

Somewhat disappointed

The house itself was beautiful and spacious. Unfortunately, we paid $75 a day for the pool to be heated. It was not. The "hot tub" was the same temp as the pool- cool but not cold. There was a bag of dog poop in the yard, which is covered in poison oak so the kids/dog couldnt play in the yard. There were not enough towels for showers which forced us to continually do laundry in the washing machines that only wash in hot water. There were roaches in the silverware drawer that we were not warned about (i know, its Florida). I attempted to contact the identified person regarding issues on MONDAY and never did receive a call back. There were objects left from previous renters under the beds, indicating that they had not been checked/cleaned. The doors are warped and did not close properly. At the time of booking, the owner reached out in a text message outside of VRBO stating that there were additional fees that needed to be paid. A few days later we were advised that she double booked the house and tried to get us to move 2 hours further south. Just FYI.

Hello Amanda, Thank you for staying at the property. We appreciate all of our guest’s feedback and I will provide some insight as well. 1- There was no payment received for your booking for pool heating. As end of June doesn’t need for the pool to be heated, we did not ask if you wanted to heat the pool. If you can review your booking details, you will be able to see that. 2- All of our guests enjoy the hot tub and we send the hot tub heating instructions as well. Our guests usually set the temp between 102-104 degrees. I have not received any questions around how to properly heat the hot tub if the instructions were not helpful. We could have definitely helped. 3- I take pride in giving the best service we can with everything under our control. I personally did not receive any communication on the issues you wrote on your review on Monday. I would have called you immediately. I don’t see anything in VRBO either as I wasn’t sure if we missed anything but I don’t see it. 4- We provide 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 2 wash cloths per bedroom as outlined in the property listing. We also provide 8 pool towels. Guests are more than welcomed to bring more towels if they need for their stay. We also provide all linens for beds; washed and beds made prior to check in. 5- VRBO external calendar link system is broken unfortunately and system allowed a booking when Airbnb booking was confirmed. I offered your group our other vacation property in Palm Coast which is an hour away or cancel the reservation at the time of booking but as you stated you didn’t want us to cancel the reservation. Airbnb guest was ok with the Palm Coast booking and we were able to accommodate your group without any issues. 6- I reached out for additional taxes that hosts need to pay to the county for “Tourist tax” but we now are able to set the tax on VRBO without causing trouble to guests as an after booking communication. I totally understand the frustration this must have caused and with the help of VRBO, we now have it set up in the system. I apologize for that. We try to make our property a comfortable, relaxing vacation place for our guests but we also understand expectations might not always be met. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay.
