Our group of 5 folks thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is so comfortable, and the neighborhood was so peaceful. We saw deer near the property each day! Each of the balconies have incredible views with glimpses of the lake and broad vistas of the surrounding hills. The kitchen was fully stocked with plates/cups/utensils/cookware, gas stove/oven, and full-sized refrigerator. The common areas are really comfortable and provide many opportunities for socializing; the basement game room area has all you need for hours of fun, and although we didn't use it ourselves there is a fire pit just outside. The host Tawny gave us plenty of information which allowed us to settle in right away and even asked what our preferred thermostat setting would be so the house would be at a comfortable temperature when we arrived. We are already thinking about when we could return for another stay!

Great weekend get-away

This is a beautiful home with an amazing view. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Communication and feedback with the host was excellent.

Beautiful house and location

This lake house is apparently a dream the owners have been working toward for a while and finally made it happen. It shows, and was a lovely place for my wife and I to stay for the weekend.

Beautiful home

My family and I enjoyed this lake home over the weekend. It had everything we needed. The game room was a hit with my boys and nephews. The views of the lake from the back decks were beautiful. It was very clean and owners were super nice.

Great Place

We had two families that stayed. There were 4 adults and 4 kids total. There was plenty of room, plenty of beds, and plenty of bathrooms. The views were amazing. The house was clean and was stocked with whatever we needed. The owners were very accessible and responsive. The house was easy to find. We would all definitely stay there again!

Amazing! Pictures dont do it justice.

As good as it gets. The views are incredible, it feels like you are in a fancy tree house in Costa Rica. The house is brand new, they had everything you needed already stocked, and the host was very responsive, overall 10/10 we will definitely be back here.

Weekend getaway

The house was amazing! It was decorated and set up beautifully! It was very comfortable and well thought out. It had everything we needed for the perfect family weekend getaway! We enjoyed every room in the house! We didn’t need anything additional. We have stayed at many places and this by far was one of our top favorites! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Fall Break

This was our first time staying at Southern Comfort and this lake house was perfectly perched on the ridge so you could see panoramic views from every room and multiple decks! I loved that some of the trees were left to give you a treehouse feeling! I was traveling with my daughter, sister and Mom and we love the area and visited some vineyards, waterfalls and shopped in nearby towns. The home was impeccably clean and well maintained it was even landscaped and decorated for Fall! The bedrooms were spacious and the beds and pillows were so comfy! We didn’t need anything in the kitchen it was well stocked and organized. We used the outdoor firepit twice during our stay and it was so peaceful! I loved how secluded the property was! Parking was easy and only a couple of steps onto the porch so it was easy to load and unload. We didn’t use the basement at all but it was a complex I’m sure large families with kids would love it! Tawny was very responsive to my email and was very helpful! We will definitely be back! Thanks so much! Ps you could see sunrise and sunsets from the house which was an added bonus!
