With a large fenced front yard shaded by a giant Pecan tree, you have plenty of space to stretch your legs or let your kids/dogs play. The house has every amenity you would desire for working remote or kicking back to watch a game or movie. Multiple options for your morning cup of coffee (Nespresso, drip or french press) and a full kitchen with a complete set of utensils, gas range and dishes allow you the option to stay in or walk out the door to a nearby bar or restaurant.

I stayed here with my husband and our 5 year old daughter, and the house was just tucked away enough to be quiet but still so close to things like Barton Springs Pool. We had a relaxing time and enjoyed how spacious the property was.

The location is great, house is super cute and host is wonderful. When they say dog friendly they actually mean it! The yard was perfect and they left some little conveniences that made us feel right at home. They’ve thought through all the details so your stay will be easy and comfortable! We will definitely be back!

Highly recommend this property! We had to stay here for 12 days while our place was being fixed. The owners were very accommodating, the place was very clean and our dog loved the fenced in yard! Very walkable to S Lamar and restaurants in the neighborhood.

Rick was an incredible host, communicating clearly and delivering an impeccable experience. Things started off great with an unexpected early check-in, and the cottage was in immaculate condition, just as described. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay plus more: a drip coffee maker plus the high end Nespresso Vertuo with pods! There is a fully equipped kitchen with pots and pans, etc., a laundry facility, iron and ironing board, clothes steamer, hair dryer. The list goes on! To top it off, Rick was a pleasure to interact with - a consummate professional. 5 stars!

Awesome stay!

This cottage is in the perfect location and is perfect for any get away! The property managers were really good at communicating and were extremely friendly! The cottage has a lot of amenities, would highly recommend!

Great little place!

We really enjoyed our stay! Very close to everything. Nice yard and quiet. Pet friendly and I wish we had brought our dogs! It was very clean, comfy beds, and exactly what we needed for our little escape. Definitely recommend.

Perfect Austin Home

This home is in the perfect location and very accommodating to families! We messaged the host and asked if we could check-in a few hours earlier since we had a small baby and they were very friendly, timely, and accommodating to our request. We loved this house for our visit to Austin! It’s extremely cute, comfortable, and has a homey feel without sacrificing location!

Fantastic!

The location was absolutely perfect! We were near enough to the fun areas to be able to walk and enjoy all that Austin has to offer, but we were also able to go back to a quiet, relaxing and comfortable location to rest and wind down. The cottage is well stocked with all of the necessities! Charmingly decorated and comfortable! We were also pleasantly surprised to find an Nespresso coffee maker with multiple coffee, selections, available, as well as a traditional coffee maker, and Starbucks ready and waiting for us. The host was very responsive and offered some great selections for dining when asked for recommendations! Although we did not bring our dogs with us for this trip, the home has a large fenced yard perfect for dogs to run and play along with a charming porch and sitting area for you to be able to enjoy the weather! We will absolutely be back and bring our pups! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would love to come back! Fantastic!

We were in Austin for the f1 race, the house was 20-30 minutes from the track. There a few good restaurants within walking distance and it’s a nice neighborhood for walking. Otherwise, a short drive to get groceries, visit downtown or dine further away. The house was well equipped and the owners were very responsive. When we inquired about a drip coffee maker, they ordered one and had it delivered the next day. The upper bedroom was spacious and open. There is no door on the ensuite bathroom which I would have preferred for privacy but we made it work for us. Beds were comfortable and we slept well. Nice to have laundry access so we could wash everything before we went to our next destination. Thought it was a lovely spot and would definitely recommend it.

Great stay over the 4th of July weekend! We brought our 4-legged friends along and they had a blast in the gated yard. The property is conveniently located in the. Building Park area and very close to South Congress street. We would definitely recommend this property!

My first concern for choosing a VRBO is feeling safe. This place felt very safe in a great, walkable neighborhood, yet close to downtown and the airport, which was what we needed. The house is quite nice - not brand new, but lovely, comfortable, and relaxed. It felt like a home. There were thoughtful touches - drinks in the fridge, plenty of Nespresso pods, games, and plenty of towels and bedding. We had two dogs, and we really appreciated a place where they were welcome. We also appreciated the easy check-in and check-out (all we were asked to do was put our dishes in the dishwasher). We will definitely stay again!

Our home is located in a quiet neighborhood with a five minute ride to downtown, Zilker park, Barton Springs, ACL, SXSW, and the lake. We are also a short walk to South Congress which offers amazing restaurants and shopping. Matties known for its free range peacocks and Thai Fresh are a few of our favorite local spots just a few blocks from our door.
