Great location, kitchen well equipped, lovely sunsets from a wraparound deck, comfortable for up to 6 people. We would definitely return.

The location and amenities are great - awesome sunsets, and you can walk to a great beach, or a short drive to other great beaches, and other activities.

Excellent place to stay!

We had a great week here. The cottage is lovely and had everything we needed. Very peaceful location with a brilliant beach nearby and easy to explore the rest of the island.

It really is a sunset dream and Thunder Cove beach is so handy, you barley have your seat belt buckled and you're there. Country setting with take-out and store handy (campground), and Cavendish is only 30 minutes away. Everything you need to relax is here, swing, hammock, comfy chairs, tables on the deck. A box of beach fun- balls, buckets and body boards available. Shampoo ect. provided so you can pack light! Kitchen has just about everything! Oil, spices, coffee, tea and a mixer if you want to whip up some cream for pancakes. The host is excellent and responds to messages very quickly! It is our second summer staying here and it feels like coming home.Kate- NB, Canada

Beautiful cottage and scenery. Great location.

Enjoyed my morning coffee on the porch every morning. Such a beautiful view we had and awesome sunsets.

The hostess does not provide local TV, cable, or satellite television. The only way to utilize the television is to sign into your own streaming services. This worked for Netflix, but none of our other services were available for use in Canada. Netflix only worked on the bedroom TV. We could not use the living room TV at all.

Sorry to hear this. It was indicated on the description that cable is not provided and only your own streaming was available. We have replaced the living room TV. Hopefully you still enjoyed your stay.

Home away from home

We were only there for a week and wished it could’ve been longer. Great location with an excellent view. Out in the countryside but only minutes from everything you need. Looking forward to next year.

Our vacation away!

This location allowed us to travel in many directions on a daily basis and no matter how far we ventured out we had this lovely home base to return to. But the very best was to witness the spectacular sunsets on the deck! Simply gorgeous! This home is equipped for everything!

Amazing and then some!

This vacation cottage had everything and anything you could imagine you would need and things that you didn’t know you would need. Christina, our hostess stayed in contact with us from prior to our visit throughout our stay. Had we known what she had in the cottage we would not have had to bring most of the household goods that we had packed. I noticed that some people had commented that there was no fire pit, but we had a fire every night in the fire pit that was off the wraparound deck. The cottage was in a perfect location to enjoy all the island has to offer. Can comfortably accommodate six adults. Would love to visit again and would absolutely try to reserve again. Thanks so much for a perfect week.

5 of us - 4 adults and one 9- year- old - spent the nights here and enjoyed the quiet setting and beautiful, expansive views. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable, with room enough for all of us. Communication was clear and timely. We had a wonderful visit to the island, and this house provided the perfect headquarters for us to settle into!
