"Penamar Ocean Club - A Home Away From Home"

Penamar is a safe and peaceful place to stay. The perfect location, considering the short distance to experience a variety of adventurous attractions on the East Coast of Puerto Rico. We are located across the street from Villa Marina. A range of catamaran charters and boat rentals are available to take you on daily trips to the Cays for snorkeling at Icacos Island or Palominos. We are five minutes from Seven Seas Beach, El Conquistador Waldorf Astoria Resort with a Golf course. the world’s largest Bio-Bay in Las Croabas. It is fifteen minutes from the former US Navy Base Roosevelt Roads, where you can take a ferry to the islands of Vieques and Culebra. In Culebra, you can visit the Forbes top-rated beach in the world, Flamenco Beach. We are 15 minutes from the beautiful Luquillo beach. A twenty minutes drive brings you to El Yunque national tropical forest. The only tropical forest protected by the US National Forest Service. It’s a great place to stay while on vacation!!!

Iris was the best host we have had! Not only was he incredibly responsive when messaging with questions, everything he provided at the house was above and beyond! We needed for nothing while there! Will be staying here again as well as mentioning this house to several others! What a great stay and vacation!

We enjoyed the variety of pools, & fitness room on the property. It’s great place to stay especially if you’re taking boats to other islands. Beds were comfortable too.

Best VRBO that I have ever stayed at. Cleanliness is hugely important to me and this place did not disappoint. In addition, it was comfy, well stocked and we loved the huge patio and multiple pools. It is about an hour away from San Juan but that didn't bother us one bit. It also has restaurants nearby. Everything we ate was amazing and just in case you want to cook at the condo, Iris has also included 2 different sized calderos in her cookware collection. We knew we were home once we saw those...lol!

We loved this location and condo. The house is very nicely appointed with a well stocked kitchen and bathrooms plus lots of good extras. The owner was easy to work with and very accommodating. We will be back!

I can’t say enough positive things about Iris and Angel’s beautiful home! It was clean and stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The condo was the perfect place for our family of four. Iris was responsive to all of my many questions, and was so so helpful. The amenities were perfect! We will definitely be back!

Space was easy to inhabit, the kitchen was well equipped and met our needs as people who cook! Our hosts were kind, responsive, and were gracious with some last minute changes we had to our guest list. We appreciated their clear communication.

Wonderful stay!

The property was just as pictured, very clean, and the location was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again and the hosts were so accommodating and helpful. It made our vacation even more amazing.

Very clean and safe condo. Highly recommend

Stayed with a friend for a short trip (3 days) we absolutely enjoyed the condo, amenities and closeness to nice beaches and boat rentals. Great for families, grouos or solo travelers.

Iris was very helpful in answering all of my questions and in a timely way. Iris’ suggestions on places to eat and things to do was very helpful. The condo was clean and had a lot of amenities. It was very nice to have beach towels, beach chairs and a beach umbrella. The location of the condo was good for short diving distances to restaurants, Walmart, and activities.
Many of the restaurants in Puerto Rico served whole fish. Very tasty Red Snapper!
Rustica had great pizza and wings!
Great breakfast and drinks at Cafe Playero!
Las Vistas Cafe is a quaint rooftop breakfast place. Good food. You definitely need to make a reservation.

Beautiful and safe location, very responsive host

My family and I enjoyed a short stay on the island and are so thankful to have come across this listing for our place to stay. The amenities were perfect for our family of 5, and Iris was super responsive and helpful. Definitely will stay here again should I ever be able to return.

Iris quickly addressed a problem we were having with the microwave. There is a closet full of beach items to enjoy. There were nice towels for the bath, the pool, and the beach.Our group of 4 adults stayed here for 3 weeks. It was very enjoyable and bright. Thank you.

Great stay

Location was beautiful and so clean. Iris has great communication for any questions you may have. My kids really enjoyed the pools at the location!

The condo was beautifully decorated and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. My teens loved their rooms. Very spacious. It was my family’s first time in PR and the location was perfect. We plan on returning to the same location for our next trip.

Fantastic rental!

This was a great place to rent. We had everything we needed - beach towels, beach chairs, coffee and other kitchen extras that were very helpful. The landlord was very responsive and friendly. The property is well located and cared for.

Family Spring Break Trip

We had 6 of us stay over spring break (2 adults and 4 teens) and the place worked well for our group. We had a great trip and made lots of family memories. We really enjoyed the El Yunque Rainforest, a day in Old San Juan and a charter boat trip to Icacos.

There were 6 if us staying in the unit for 7 nights. The condo is spacious, comfortable and spotless. Everyone slept well. There are multiple restaurants along the marina area a short drive away. Lovely beaches with ample parking are also an easy ride. We took advantage of the full kitchen and cooked in a few times. A large supermarket is nearby and is well stocked with familiar items. We had a couple down days and simply relaxed by one of the well maintained pools. We had a perfect vacation thanks in part to our host, Iris and her beautiful condo. She is the most accommodating host I have met on the VRBO platform. I will not hesitate to return in the future.

Our stay at Iris and Angel apartment exceed our expectations. From the booking to the end of our stay. Communication was excellent,the apartment was clean and well equipped. This apartment is so beautiful. Also the convenience of many touristic places to go are close by a short drive. We will definitely come back!
