Great property! They were very accommodating and communicated well. Kids room is right at the top of the stairs so the bottom floor has to be almost silent once kids are asleep which can be tricky for families like ours hot tub and fire pit were perfect!

Such a beautiful and relaxing spot for a few days of fall break! The owners have truly thought of every single thing (large and small) to make the entire experience fun, effortless, and incredibly comfortable. From extra blankets for everyone to be cozy, plenty of wood for the fire pit, and a closet of games to play to soft sheets on the beds, plush towels in the bathrooms, and a fantastic ice maker to keep coolers full and drinks fresh. Even my greatest rental pet peeve - terrible knives in the kitchen - didn't happen here! (Knives might have been sharper than my own at home.) There was room for everyone to be all together or to find their own space to relax, and we would absolutely return for a few more quiet and easy days in the woods near the lake.

The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed! We loved the layout of the home for our families needs during our week-long stay. We were at the max capacity of 12 people and still had plenty of room inside and out. We enjoyed the porch during our evenings. Our stay was quiet during the week. The host contacted us during our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back for sure! The boat ramp was right down the road Ramsey point easy to get to. Plenty of parking for our boat and two jet ski's at the house.

Amazing! Always!

We had a blissful family visit to Monticello again! The barndo is SO comfortable and always beautifully updated...love those gorgeous fireplaces in the masters! We had absolutely everything our family needed and we plan to return to wake up in those woods again. Thank you! Carolyn

Great location, under 10 minutes to the boat ramp. The home is well designed to entertain both inside and out.Electric & water easily accessible. Unbelievable hiking / waterfalls and unlimited bays on the water to enjoy! Thumps up all around!!!

Perfect Bachelorette Stay!!

This house is amazing with lots of activities you don’t need to bring from home!! My 8 bridesmaids and I enjoyed watching a movie in the living room. The sound quality is very similar to the movie theater and we also played music on the speakers. The TV is also presentation friendly if you have a macbook or iPad to use screen mirroring feature. Plenty of dining space with plates, cups, and utensils. Don’t forget to buy a fire starter kit, unless you want to use the gas grill haha or drive 15 min to Walmart. We tried to do it without one, but no luck. Private showers were really spacious. The hot tub was very clean as well and some of us were able to play games provided in the entrance closet. We truly enjoyed our time here and would like to return one day😊

Outstanding host and property!

We had an amazing 4-night stay at Barndo Bliss on Lake Cumberland with our family and two other families. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with how well-equipped and thoughtfully designed the property was. It truly had everything we could ask for to make our trip comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable. The beds were very comfortable, there was plenty of parking for multiple vehicles and boats, and the amenities were outstanding. The hot tub was a perfect way to unwind after a day on the lake, and the fire pit was a great place for everyone to gather in the evenings and make memories together. The host’s communication was exceptional before and throughout our stay, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Barndo Bliss was the perfect home base for our Lake Cumberland getaway, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and family-friendly place to stay!

Beautiful Barndo on Lake Cumberland

Never been disappointed.

Stephanie and Kevan are the best hosts! The house is amazing: clean, modern, welcoming, roomy, and well-stocked - absolutely never been disappointed and we've stayed multiple times. Communication is 5-star. My all-time favorite place to stay.

This was a great house! Super clean, spacious and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub, firepit, and the grill. It was 30 mins to Conley Bottom marina and 15 mins to a grocery store. We would stay here again next time we're back!!

Barndo bliss

This property was perfect for 2 families to come together. It is gorgeous and very clean. There was plenty to keep us busy on rainy days.

Nature's Haven!

This was a perfect place to gather to hang out with our family and enjoy time, stories, and fun around the smokeless fire-pit, cooking together in the well furnished kitchen, and listening to the nature. Beautiful Lake House

My whole family had a wonderful time! The house was super clean and stocked with everything we needed for cooking and s’mores and laundry. Super close to the boat ramp. Beautiful outdoor space and luxurious bedrooms!

Short vacay

This property is well maintained and super clean. The host communicates very well and we’re always quick with their responses. My children had fun on the trails and all the amenities available at the property.
