Very nice lake front property. Easy in and out of Sportmans world. I would suggest getting more bath towels for a property sleeping this many. Otherwise, wonderful experience.

Beautiful view, Hells Gate was just around the corner by boat, our grand children Loved having their own space upstairs!!!! We all enjoyed relaxing, boating, playing games & enjoying this nice home!!!

We had another excellent stay at this VRBO property! This was our second time here, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. The home is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.The location is perfect, and the hosts have clearly put a lot of thought into making guests feel welcome. Communication was easy, check-in was seamless, and the property exceeded our expectations once again. It’s hard to find a place that delivers such a consistently great experience, which is why we came back—and we’ll definitely be staying here again in the future. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, stress-free stay. Five stars all the way!

The location was perfect, access to lake was great! Kitchen setup was great and made cooking with multiple people very easy. Loved sitting at the fire pit every evening!

We recently stayed here, and unfortunately, there were far too many issues for the price. The house had holes, scuffs and marks on the sheetrock, chipped/scraped trim, a bathroom door that stuck, and a doorknob that fell off when we closed the door. We notified the person who came out. The kitchen table and floors were dirty, the icebox was dirty, and the ice maker did not work.The main shower backed up during our first shower. We were told they have had drain problems due to the slope. The amount of hair pulled from the drain was disgusting. If this is a known issue, it should be cleaned regularly.The patio was disappointing. The listing shows three ceiling fans, but there was only one. We were told water damage had affected the electrical. The fan remote was found in the garage, but the fan wobbled so badly we were afraid it might fall. The patio ceiling was covered with cobwebs and dirt.It was difficult figuring out which outlets worked and which switches controlled what. The stairs were poorly lit at night, making them difficult and potentially dangerous to navigate. A motion-activated security light would help.The Starlink internet went out a couple of times; moving the dish may help. Guests also should not have to take trash two miles away after paying a cleaning fee.The location is nice and the property has potential, but there are simply too many maintenance and cleanliness issues. For what this property costs per night, I expected much better.

Easy checking and check out process. House was clean and looked the same as online! We were playing at Rocker B for a baseball tournament and it was about 30 minutes away which wasn’t bad. Wish we got to spend more time there.

Had a blast!

Our family had a great time here. Everything was as described. The kids really enjoyed being able to walk out of the back door 30 yards to the lake to go fishing. Brooke was a great host with great communication!

Great Lake trip!

First of all, Brooke was amazing with communication and accommodations!!! This house is great and you cannot beat the location. We had 2 of our college kids plus our recent college graduate stay with us and it was just what our crew needed! Highly recommend and would love to return again!

PK Lake House

It was a nice place and a perfect lake house for the family. Possum Kingdom is the most beautiful Lake in Texas and this house is in the perfect spot to see it all. Brooke the agent is the best to deal with.

Lovely property, nicely decorated. Very spacious, plenty of room for 8 adults and 2 young kids. Comfortable beds. Perfectly located in Hells Gate. Long drive to groceries, so come prepared. Well equipped kitchen, nice outdoor grill. Walk in water access was nice, we moored our boat on shore.Game room with pool table and ping pong table was enjoyed by young adults in group. Hot tub not heating during our stay so that was the one disappointment of the stay.The furnished kayaks was an enjoyed added bonus. Great stay!

End of summer vacay

This house was amazing and took care of all our needs. We also were able to get our boat right up to the bank. House is located in the back of hells gate and blocked the wind and waves. It was perfect. Thanks

The house, as well as the location are both beautiful. On a positive note, the house was cool and comfortable. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The propane fire pit was awesome. We loved the large living room/kitchen area. The check-in and check-out processes were easy. However the requirement for taking your trash a few miles away was not at all convenient since that is not the road that leads out of the area. We did not realize the bedroom in the game room does not have access to the rest of the house without going outside and up the stairs. Two fans and an outside light on the front porch on the upstairs deck did not work. When I texted to asked about them I did not receive a reply. For a high end rental which sleeps 12 there were not enough bath towels available and no towels were provided for the hot-tub. The basketball goal has a large hole in the backboard and the net is also hanging by a couple of hooks and is torn. The basketballs were flat. There were 4 kayaks but only 3 paddles. We opened the center table by the couches and all of the games were emptied and dumped in a pile. It took an hour to go through and separate all the games and get them in order where they could be used. The game room was nice but really too small to accommodate both a pool table and ping-pong table.

PK Lake

It is such a beautiful place with a great view. Too bad it isn't better maintained. I felt like everything I touched might break. I was grateful for Brooke's quick respose with a repairman for the stove. My husband fixed the stopped up shower head before the maintenance guy came. It is really far from everything - so you pay top dollarfor things like firewood. It seems like the cleaning deposit is too steep as the place was not that clean - especially the floors. We would love to have used the outdoor kitchen , but it is quite disgusting with old junk stuffed in every corner. Not nearly as nice as it shows online. When we finally got firewood - we had an amazing outdoor fire. Great size and venue for a family of 9. Just feel it is way overpriced on the cleaning deposit, for the condition it is in. Enjoyed the hot tub. Took some great family pics!
