We did a lot of searching for the perfect getaway to celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary THIS WAS IT!!! We both love the outdoors and the water so much and we absolutely fell in love with this place!!

We absolutely loved staying at Lazy K Retreat. The house was wonderful, outside view was pretty, so peaceful, and not far from the river. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and plan on booking in the near future again.

This is becoming a fam favorite. We love the river access and the kayaks, and Kelly and property manager Aaron go above and beyond to make the stay smooth! We will be back next year.

We had a great time! This place was perfect for a family including toddlers and teenagers. The house was cozy and the river access had all we could ask for. The young kids had a little tube chute and swimming hole that was perfect and the older boys find a couple of great fishing holes for largemouth bass and perch. Thanks for a great getaway!

The house was welcoming and very comfortable. The deck is great and where we spent a lot of time. Having the Ranger available made it much easier to get our group of 8 down to the river.

Even though we were rained out for half our trip, this place is absolutely amazing. This is an excellent property for a family who wants to get away from everything. House is clean and well kept and the river is amazing to sit back and relax. Both Kelly and Aaron stay in contact the whole time if you have questions. Will be booking again!

Best place in the canyon

This was our first time to stay at this property and I highly recommend it In my opinion this is one of the best places in the Nueces Canyon We will be using it again in the future

Amazing property for a river vacation getaway!!! House is fantastic, tons of space, fire pit and back deck to hang out. Host are very quick to respond and help with anything we needed. Definitely will be staying here when we come to Campwood.

Nicely remodeled and appointed house by the Nueces River. Perfect location for us to join our family in Barksdale for a weekend reunion. We will be back next year!

Perfect Getaway

This is a perfect gem on the river. The house was well kept and fully furnished. The river was beautiful and was perfect for my family. I will be booking again.

Cozy at the river!

Great stay!!! Beautiful property and the most comfortable and cozy house!! Being a short drive to the river is amazing also!!! Can’t wait to come back!

Great family friendly getaway

Great stay for family. Location was ideal. Easy access to the Nueces River was what we were looking for. Kayaks provided were an added plus. We will definitely consider staying there again. ~Rodriguez family

Home away from home
