Great place!

Great property, big beautiful backyard, and close to lots of great stuff! Owners were super responsive. Would definitely come back!

It was a wonderful time. Steve and Rebecca were very responsive whenever we needed something. There were lots of activities for our kids to enjoy. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was great. Stephen was an excellent host - proactive, responsive and genuinely caring. The house was great - charming and conducive to hanging out. And the location was close to downtown Ogunquit and Perkins Cove - around a 10 min drive, probably walkable for most without young kids to manage. Recommend!

July 2024 Stay

We had a great stay at Steven's place. There were 7 of us, and the house had plenty of room to convene as a group and to have privacy. The backyard is expansive and the porch is a great spot any time of day. Steven was very welcoming and responsive. The walk to Perkins Cove is easy and we took advantage of that frequently.

Relaxing, Accommodating, and Well-Located Stay!

Steve was a wonderful host. He was very helpful and friendly, and responded quickly to any inquiries we had. He was in communication in advance to confirm the age of our daughter so he and his wife could provide age-appropriate toys for her which was so incredibly thoughtful and absolutely made the trip for her! The house was spacious and comfortable, we especially loved sitting out on the porch every day and watching the turkey families traipse by. It was a very quick and easy drive to the beach, and easily walkable to Perkins Cove. We had a wonderful time and would stay here again!

Lobster, Laughter, & Love: Our Coastal Get Away

We recently stayed in Ogunquit and had the most memorable family vacation we’ve ever experienced. From the start, the host went above and beyond—after I mentioned looking forward to quality time with the kids, she surprised us with age-appropriate gifts that made everyone feel welcome and excited.The location was perfect: just a short and scenic walk to Perkins Cove, where we enjoyed beautiful views and charming shops. The host also printed out a parking pass for a day trip we’d planned, which saved us time and stress.Her attention to detail and genuine thoughtfulness made all the difference. We felt completely at home and cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—this trip set a new standard for family vacations!

Amazing Hidden Gem!

Quintessential and charming home near the heart of Ogunquit. Everything has been fully renovated and you would never guess that this is a 100 year old home. Comfortable beds and furniture make this a perfect escape for a Maine experience. Lovely quilts and furnishings add to the charm of the home. For me, what sets this home apart from other listings is the picturesque backyard. And the beach or stores are walking distance or a quick drive. I feel lucky to have found this gem of a rental. And since it is a four season home, my family will definitely be back.

Ogunquit Renovated House

We loved this house! The host was there to greet us and it was great to get a tour of this beautiful home. A mix of old and new and so charming! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and large enough to have four cooks in the kitchen at once. The grill was new and the yard was a postcard. Daily visitors included deer and turkeys. The covered back deck was perfect for morning coffee and after dinner cocktails with family. The suggestions for places to purchase lobster and steak for grilling were on point. Walkable to Perkins Cove and a short drive to the beach. The hosts left gifts for the littles (age 2.5 yo and 4 mo) and they were so thoughtful and age appropriate. We felt like family and will hopefully continue to make memories at this beloved house!

Lovely, charming, very confortable

One of the best (and most charming!) places to stay in the Ogunquit/a Cape Neddick area We are a family of four (including two kids 5 and under) and have stayed in many places in the Ogunquit area. This cottage has been one of our absolute favorites! The owners are kind, responsive, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The home is clean, with an old world feel updated with modern amenities… new kitchen, bathroom, laundry area… and air conditioning! If you aren’t beach-bound, there is plenty to do at the cottage: books to read, games to play (both indoor and outdoor), a grill to cook on, a fire pit to gather around. As a special treat, the huge and private backyard has a pear tree and is occasionally visited by deer! We booked this trip at the last minute. Usually, our goal is to be within walking distance (for a 3- and 5 year old that’s under half mile) to the beach. This house was not that quite that close, we had a short drive to the beach (probably under 2 miles). And, it was the most peaceful, restful, relaxing place. It made me reconsider our previous beach-adjacent requirement. We absolutely loved this house and property and will definitely visit again.

Thank you so much for staying with us. To be honest, it's pretty easy to host people who have renting homes down to a rocket science. The children were adorable and polite! Direct eye contact and handshakes at first meeting! Mom and Dad were super causal and fun despite arriving in a rainstorm. Upon departure, the family left the house spotless. It's great when you make friends along the way.

The hosts were friendly and responsive for a home that contained all necessary amenities for the size group advertised for. I do not make this comment lightly, it is not uncommon to find that dinnerware is not adequate or supplies inadequate for the number expected. This was a dream choice for the children that never became bored during our stay. I highly recommend the location for the option of 4 local beaches, we spent time at all of them. We felt safe with the children in the backyard, watching them, and the deer, from the deck. This home has become the favorite in our 8 years of week long 3 generation vacations with school age children and younger!
