We had a wonderful time and the house was just the right size for all of us. It was very clean. Perfectly located to all attractions. The host was very attentive and to easy reach, if necessary. The kitchen was big enough, but no dish washer. More hand towels are needed for drying purposes. It seems the house is still in renovation mode, and will be even nicer when complete. We will definitely recommend to others.

Great location. Within driving distance to many shops, restaurants, and beaches. Having a washer and dryer was a huge plus!

The house was so nice…. Great location, newly renovated basement with so much room for everyone. The beds were very comfortable. I would recommend this house.

Perfect home to rent for 10 adults and 2 children

My family of 12, ranging from a 4 year old to a 75 year old, enjoyed our stay at Family Tides immensely. The lovely, well-appointed home offers 4 large and comfortable bedrooms on the main and second floor and a separate space with 2bedrooms in the finished basement. There was a large bathroom with shower on each floor and great outdoor space with a grill, pergola, and tables in the fenced in yard. The kitchen, well equipped with excellent appliances, opened to a dining area and a large living room which accommodated the entire family for a movie or game night. An added feature to admire is the admirable landscaping. While it is possible to walk the mile and a half to Long Beach, we chose to drive as we had beach canopies, chairs, umbrellas, pails, etc. I strongly recommend Family Tides - we could not have asked for a better week-long rental.

Clean, comfortable, charming home

Six of us stayed in this home for a wedding & we had a great experience. Sleeping arrangements & bed configuration was perfect. Kitchen is very nice & contained everything we needed. The place is very clean & charmingly decorated. The location was perfect for us. It’s close to the ocean & we had a lobster dinner in a cute restaurant directly across from the beautiful beach. The Salt & Shine Staff communicated with us in an extremely timely manner. We’d definitely stay at this location again in the future!

Very Cute and Centrally Located

We stayed at the property for my sister’s baby moon. There were only three of us, since our fourth person dropped out last minute. We loved staying at this house, because it was very clean, comfortable, spacious, and close to everything we wanted to do. I slept like a baby every night, which is hard for me! I also loved the garage, because I recently got a brand new electric SUV and wanted to keep it safe and clean. The garage was completely cleared out, so we were able to pull in upon our arrival. We flagged one issue with the garbage disposal, but the property manager reached out to me immediately to address the problem. We think the last people may not have mentioned that there was an issue, so the property manager was not even aware. I highly recommend staying here, and I plan on staying here for future trips.

House was very spacious & gave our large family plenty of room to stay together while also having our own space. First floor bedroom was perfect for grandparents so they didn't have to do stairs. Having 3 full bathrooms was also a HUGE plus! Most convenient location. Minutes from beach, restaurants, grocery store, & shops. I absolutely cannot say enough wonderful things about the Salt & Shine team. They were so responsive & easy to deal with. I hope we can rent all future stays with them. Would give them 10 stars if I could.Wondering if this is the first season the property has been rented because I feel like with a few small tweaks, it could easily be 5 stars. Here are the reasons I did not give it 5 full stars (most are quick and simple fixes):1. House can hold up to 13 people, but dining room table only seats 6, so eating together was challenging for 10 of us. Swapping out for a larger table with more chairs would make a huge difference.2. Kitchen did not have a dishwasher, so we had to spend more of our vacation time cleaning up after dinners at home than we would have preferred.3. Not all bedrooms had air conditioning. Downstairs where it's cooler, it was not quite as bad, but upstairs bedroom was SUPER hot & we had to purchase fans.4. I don't know about other guests, but we would have liked to clean up after ourselves a little during the week (like tracking in sand), but there was no cleaning equipment (vacuum, broom & dustpan) available to do so.

The home was very clean, communication was helpful and the location was very convenient. We had 6 adults and 3 children and this property fit us all very comfortably.

Spacious comfortable home close to everything!

Family Tides house - the perfect place for a comfortable stay in Southern coastal Maine. My family and I (5 adults/1 child) just got back from our 7 day/6 night stay.We had plenty of space to be together for meals inside and out, so much room we could each get some quiet time alone to catch a nap, and had all the comforts of home. Spacious yard to play ball or games out back. There were plenty of towels, pillows, and blankets. Having a washer and dryer was a huge plus. The starter supplies were enough that we didn't need to rush to the store. Well stocked kitchen! Location= FANTASTIC!!!! 5-20min car ride to everything!!!! Thank you for such a wonderful stay! We will definitely be back and hope this home is available for our next trip to Maine!!

Almost everything was perfect for our family mini-vacation. The house has lots of room (there were 9 adults and 3 little ones), very clean and very well-equipped. The location was great!There are a few little suggestions I have which I will pass on to the host, but the one thing we all found strange was the absence of a dishwasher! For a house that holds easily a dozen guests - that's a lot of dishes, etc to do by hand w/o a dishwasher
