This was a great house for our family. It was only a 3 minute drive to town. There was an adorable basket of snacks and s’mores supplies upon arrival which was a lovely touch. There were some yard games to play which was an added bonus! The house is older but has a lot of charm.

Very family friendly home. The home is older, but has been updated well and has a nice little charm to it. There was a basket of smore items upon arrival that our kids really enjoyed.

We loved staying in this charming farm house for our stay in Lava Hot Springs. The large great room was fun for us to gather and hang out together. The extra large dining table was perfect for eating together and family games for our group of 10.The bedrooms have 3 King size beds! We love that for the adults. The bunk bed room was large for our grandkids with 2 queen beds, and full size bunkbed set. Lots of room!The kitchen was sufficient and work space enough for us to cook and serve 4 kiddos at the island. We loved the badminton net outside. We loved the tetherball. We used the firepit for nighttime s'mores and seeing the milky way! The hammock was relaxing for us to use too! This house has everything for a great family stay in the beautiful peaceful town of Lava.

Great property, very clean.

It would be 5 stars except the air conditioner didn't really work. Great amenities, good rooms and beds, well stocked.

Such a cute pretty place perfect for a large group , house had all utensils and kitchen supplies we needed , fire pit was great, yard was huge, rooms were comfortable and cozy, host was easy to work with. Loved it!

Great family home

Love the large table for family dinner!! plenty of room and great location for Lava fun! Thank you for making the check out easy! So many VRBOs have you doing so many chores you barely have time to vacate in time.

Easter retreat

This was Grandma, Grandpa, our daughter/son in-law and 5 grandchildren. House and yard were clean. We enjoyed volleyball in the large open yard. Loved the large area inside for relaxing playing games, tv and the large dining table

I stayed here for a family vacation with 4 adults and 4 kids. Overall I enjoyed our stay and thought the price was reasonable. Pros:The main floor is very open and spacious- great for spreading out and kids playing. The dining table is huge and fit all 8 of us comfortably (which was hard to find in other comparable rentals). Location is wonderful. On a nice day you could walk into town. We did not as it was 100 degrees, but the drive is maybe 2 minutes at most! There is a little farm with sheep next door that the kids loved to see and hear. Great backyard- fire pit with a welcome s’mores kit from the owner. There is tether ball, picnic tables, and a hammock that hovers questionably close to the ground hah. There’s also extra towels and outdoor toys available. Great communication and check-in. The owners are quick to respond and getting in/out were smooth. Cons:The dishwasher doesn’t do a good job. Make sure everything is thoroughly rinsed before loading. The A/C doesn’t work very well upstairs. The 3 bedrooms up there were 80 degrees at night and the thermostat was set to 68 downstairs. Bear in mind there was a heat wave of 90-100 degrees.No bathroom upstairs. The bathroom is located on the main level off of the kitchen. There is also a 2nd bathroom attached to the main bedroom on the main floor.

Amazing Rental

Highly recommend this rental! Very clean and a lot of ammenities stocked in the house. Kitchen was amazing and utensil and gadget ready to make our meals. The fire pit out back was very fun and the little basket of s'mores supplies was a fun surprise. There are outdoor chairs and a hammock ready to relax in. Bedrooms were comfy and pillows were fluffy! Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo/conditioner/soap and very clean.The house is just far enough outside of town to be quiet but close enough to not be a hassle to get back into all the fun. Owners were super responsive and great communicators. Very friendly

Yellow lawn

This house is big and roomy i just wish the lawn was green as pictured. The lawn was horribly dry. One of the main reasons I rented this place was the big yard.

Nice place

This has been renovated recently and has all the kitchen tools you need to do basic cooking, as well as a grill outside. Loved the deck, there was just quite a bit of glass around from broken landscape lighting and past parties. No spices or any kind of community cupboard that most rentals have. There's. A little grocery store just a little drive into town, so we made it work. The only bathrooms are downstairs. The master has a full bath and a 3/4 bath right in the corner of the kitchen. We loved the big great room and all the windows. Great views out of all of them. There wasn't a "Rental instructions" book like most rental homes have. Everything was done electronically through the app. We couldn't get the code to work on the front door and the manager had to keep unlocking it electronically. The beds were clean and VERY comfortable with tvs in most of the bedrooms. HVAC system was awesome. Hammocks were a nice touch, but the poles didn't seem too sturdy and rocked a bit. Badminton set was fun, just wear shoes on the grass.

The house was very nice! The added touches of complimentary smores/snacks was amazing. The hosts were quick to answer us when we needed something. Close to town, but far enough out to have amazing views. Fire pit was nice with comfy chairs. Couldn’t find sticks for the s’mores but just ran into town and bought some. Feed back: Maybe some coffee and sugar/creamer would be nice but the store wasn’t far so no biggy! And maybe have some games on hand for the kiddos. The weather wasn’t as nice as we hoped so we stayed indoor a bit. Brought our own games just in case. It was a very pleasant place to stay with lots of people. Big table where all 10 of us could sit together. Highly recommend a stay here.

Great family spot! Less than a mile from downtown Lava with all the space and freedom you need. Hosts are stellar and had goodies for us. Upstairs bedrooms can be a little hot so make sure you shut the blinds and windows during the hotter summer days. Would stay again!
