Spacious Sawtooth condo in Shanty Creek with easy same level access from parking lot, updated in 2018. Basic kitchenware, two queen beds in one bedroom, king bed in the other and a Murphy bed in the living room. This amazing condo sleeps 8 with room to spare. Each bedroom has it's own balcony with a third balcony off the living room. This is truly a home away from home.
Located about an hour from all that northern Michigan has to offer, including Traverse City, Shorts Brewery, Torch Lake, Sleeping Bear Dunes and the Mackinac Bridge.
The condo is on parking lot level making it very convenient to come and go. You will also have access to the resort amenities including indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub located a short walk to Lakeview Hotel at Summit Village. There are many bike and walking paths located in the resort along with a pitch-and-putt 9-hole disc golf course. And don't miss the Beach Club on the sandy shores of Lake Bellaire.
Shanty Creek’s fleet of complimentary transportation shuttles allow property owners and guests to discover all three villages which includes, Summit Village, Cedar River Village, Schuss Village and downtown Bellaire.

We had a really nice time in Bellaire! The resort area was great. We enjoyed the pool, the coffee bar and the scenery of Shanty Creek Resort. The condo was what we needed; lot of room for our family of 5 at a great price! We really enjoyed how close it was to Charlevoix, Petosky and Torch Lake! We would stay here again!

We were happy with our condo & our hosts who were responsive and helpful! Enjoyed a gorgeous view from any of the 3 balconies every morning! The location is great for outdoor activities like fishing, boating, & golfing. We like a little more of a tourist-type location with lots of restaurant options and wound up having to drive quite a ways to get to any of that- but that was our lack of planning. Our first visit to Michigan was a great success. The beauty of Michigan is just unreal. Two photos from the balcony and one from the lodge on the property.

A great place to stay while visiting Shanty Creek! The condo had plenty of space and was well stocked with essentials, yet still felt cozy and inviting. It was a perfect place to relax and unwind. Would absolutely recommend!

Let me say that the hosts of this unit were very responsive, and I certainly appreciated it. I believe they will do anything to make your stay comfortable. With that being said, we found the unit to be just okay. The condo is in a pretty setting, and it was sufficient for our needs… flopping and dropping for our 3 days of golf with my husband, son, and his buddy. The not so good part was that the unit was dated, dark, and the carpets in the bedrooms were stained, as well as a bit shaggy. My son thought that the unit actually smelled like an animal had been there. There was a laundry room with towels and linens still in the dryer. The furniture, ceilings, light fixtures... again, dated. The sheets and bed linens were dingy and not very inviting. The beds looked as though someone just threw the top blanket up over the sheets (as if someone had stayed there). I would probably not rent this unit again, and I’m almost feeling guilty because the hosts were so nice. After reading most of the reviews, I expected more. We travel a lot, so my expectations are great… especially when it comes to carpets and linens.

I'm writing a response to our guests review not because I'm angry or to complain but because I'm disappointed. Most people believe that if you own a condo that you're rich. We are not. We depend on the income from our condo rental to make mortgage, HOA, insurance, and utility payments. There is no money left at the end of the year. When the carpet gets stained or the furniture needs to be updated we don't have the money at this point to replace it. Some day we hope to be able to do that.

This was the perfect property for two couples to get together for a quiet fall weekend. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Communication with the property manager was a breeze. If we’re in the area again, we would definitely book this place.

Great experience here - nice spacious condo in a nice area. No complaints. Also, the host was able to accommodate us shifting our dates which was very helpful. No problems at all.

This was a great space for our family (kids aged 11-16), for a ski weekend. Prompt and thorough communication from the owners. The condo was clean upon arrival and we had plenty of room. The kitchen had everything that we needed. Loved the location. Easily walkable to the indoor pool at the Lakeside Hotel and the restaurants in the little village. We would recommend for a weekend of family fun.

Thanksgiving Retreat

Great condo, well appointed with all the amenities needed to enjoy our long weekend. We just love the area, so much to do. Bonus it snowed the entire time during our stay.

Our unit was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing week. It’s right by the Lakeview Hotel so you can walk over to swim, get a bite to eat or have a cocktail. There is also a Starbucks in there. The beach is absolutely beautiful and is one reason we choose this place. It is our second time staying in this particular unit.

Can’t beat it for the price!

Condo has a great view and was very clean. Pool pass is a nice touch that you don’t always get at Shanty Creek. I would stay here again.

Everything was great. My only complaint is I wish they would have had shampoo and conditioner and a bar of soap. We forgot ours, and it would have been so helpful. Everything else was nice!

Great Condo!!

Second year in the Bellaire area and first in this area of Shanty Creek resorts. Condo was clean, well stocked and as advertised. Close proximity to resort amenities and a short drive to other resort golf courses and Bellaire for other necessities and restaurants. Would definitely recommend!
