The Blue Wave House, a beautiful, modern architecture designed home, located only one block to the beach and in the heart of downtown Manhattan Beach, California. It has whitewater ocean, iconic pier and Palos Verdes View from the top floor. This premier 3-bedroom vacation rental with an excellent location, incredible views and unique, comfy interiors. Everything is within walking distance, including the beach, amazing restaurants, chic boutiques, and beach bars.
This three-level home features an open floor plan drenched in sunlight. Oversized glass doors allow the entertainment living rooms to be completely open to the viewing deck with outside furniture chairs.
The oversized living space located on the top floor has:
- New flat screen Smart TV
- Sonos speakers
- Big Ass fan
- Modern gas fireplace
- Bathroom with shower
A couple steps up, on the 3rd floor, is where the kitchen is located, with:
- Floor-to-ceiling walnut cabinetry, Italian tile and custom blue mined granite island with a breakfast and mini bar.
- You can have coffee and watch the waves from a stainless steel bar-height table with two chairs.
- The dining room easily seats six people, with built-in seating on two sides and there are four countertop stools on the kitchen island.
On the second level, there are 3 bedrooms:
- The generous-sized Main Bedroom has a fireplace, shower, and luxurious soaking tub with a generous walk-in closet.
- The two Guest Bedrooms - one with a Queen bed and the other with 2x Twin beds - have a bathroom with an extra-large shower located between them.
On the same level, a few steps up is what they call the guitar bar, which has:
- A cozy sofa
- One wine refrigerator
- Another mini refrigerator
Spend an afternoon on the outside patio with:
- Glass doors and an ultra-comfy and stylish wicker egg-shaped chair, which is one of the owner’s favorite places to hang out.
On the bottom level is the perfect place to hang out in our comfy living area with:
- New smart TV
- Velvet sectional sofa
- Bathroom with shower
Other features are:
- Radiated heated floors with Nest.
- 5 zone Air Conditioning system but this house can be opened up to get great cross breezes if you do not want to use A/C.
- Big Ass fans - yes that is the name - as they are wonderful for air circulation and are located upstairs, master bedroom and guest bedroom.
- Parking for two cars in the garage and one car across the driveway in front of the house. There is also one additional guest spot in the carport.
- SUV's will not fit in the garage.
- Tesla EV charger available in the garage.
- The washer and dryer are located in the garage.
- We also have a dumbwaiter to bring up groceries to the top floor.
Everything you need for a day at the beach is in the garage including:
- Beach chairs
- A foam surfboard
- Two beach umbrellas
- Straw beach hats
- Volleyballs
- Rolling ice chest
- Lots of beach blankets and towels.
Other Amenities
- Outdoor shower: to use to clean off sand after a day at the beach.
- Wall-mounted guitars: can be used, but please be careful to put them back in their original position.
- Two vintage cruiser beach bikes: located outside, they may have a little rust due to ocean exposure. Please ride the bikes at your own risk.
- One foam surfboard and cruiser long skateboard: available for use.
- Access to coverups, Turkish towel robes, straw beach bags, beach blankets, and towels: the owners have their own brands of resort wear that you can use during your stay. If you wish to purchase anything from their websites (www . shop subtle luxury . com or www . golden sun brand . com), they can pre-deliver to the beach house. A discount code will be provided if you are interested in purchasing anything.
Complimentary items:
- We will provide all the necessary spices, condiments, coffee pods, tea bags, sugar, honey, paper towels, toilet tissue, washing machine detergent, cleaning supplies, and a few other things for you to enjoy during your stay.
Other things to note
This vacation rental has a Manhattan Beach business license allowing for short-term stays. TOT taxes of 14% will apply.

No one likes rules, least of all, us -- but we do have a few requirements so that the home is in as perfect a shape for each guest as possible.
- Please respect check-in and checkout times.
- Primary renter must be over the age of 25.
- Host may request a photocopy of the renter's ID for verification before check-in.
- This is a private property and the host reserves the right to access the property at any time to perform maintenance repairs necessary or requested by the renter.
- Maintenance/Vendors schedule: we are unable to offer refunds or credits for inconveniences due to scheduling and maintenance done during your stay. Guests should understand that such vendors must be able to access the home as well as service the property so we request that our maintenance teams are not turned away if they should overlap your stay.
- Absolutely no parties or loud music.
- This is a NON-SMOKING property.
- NO animals or pets of any kind are permitted at the Property except (1) as specifically authorized in your reservation, or (2) bona fide service animals that we are required by law to allow. Emotional support animals are not permitted except as authorized pets. You agree that a prohibition on animals is not a guarantee that an animal has not been inside the Property or that the Property is free of animal or pet allergens. If pets were to be brought without our consent and knowledge, guests will have their reservation canceled immediately.
