We had an excellent time! House was perfect for us and we love the Manhattan Beach community. Of course it is pricey but aside from that it was a 10/10!!

Check in/out was easy and seamless- we were even able to drop our bags off which was really convenient! Great location as well- easy to get places and to the beach. I do think it could use just a bit of touch up/upgrades in the bathrooms and also better shades in the upstairs bedroom- sun was blaring in and made it really warm in there in the afternoons. (The space had no AC)

As with many coastal homes, we rely on the ocean breeze and provide fans, though we understand that summer afternoons can occasionally be warmer. It was well decorated and cozy. Not many beach views from the property but a perfect view from the garage and a really easy walk to beach access. Definitely would stay again!

Location is great! Very safe neighborhood with so many great restaurants and the beach all within walking distance. The layout is great for great for 1-2 families or 3 friends. Garage fit a large SUV.

It was a great stay for a week for our family of two adults and two teens. The house is conveniently located just a few minutes walk to the beach, with sun umbrellas, a couple of beach chairs and beach towels provided. One bedroom on the lower level and two on the upper level were perfect for privacy. The house is in between the main MB restaurant/shopping area and it’s North side with more restaurants/bike rental, which provides many options. Our morning routine was going to the nearby cafe The Hive for breakfast, which set the mood for relaxing vacation days. This was our first time in MB and we fell in love with it. Would for sure be back.

Pretty sparse and 2 star place. I’d say location is great and beds were super comfy but that’s about it. Entry door lock failed to work. Had to get directed to hidden key to secure house. No beach chairs. This is a 3 BR house sorely in need of a scrape and rebuild to justify value. Would not stay here again.

The location pin was not accurate. It showed the house west of Highland Ave in Manhattan Beach when it was east of Highland Ave.There was no A/C or fans and it was quite warm at night even with the windows open. The soap containers in the bathroom were empty. There were eight remotes for the TV and it we had to figure out by trail and error which one to use.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that certain aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. To clarify, the property address and check-in information were shared multiple times prior to arrival. The Highland Avenue address referenced is our office , which is approximately a two-minute walk from the home. The property location itself was clearly provided before check-in few times. Regarding air conditioning, this home does not advertise A/C. Many homes located this close to the shoreline in Manhattan Beach do not have air conditioning due to the typically mild coastal weather. Each bedroom is equipped with a fan, and a remote control is provided for each fan. We would also like to clarify that the living room TV uses only two remotes. If there was any confusion operating the system, we would have been happy to assist had we been contacted during your stay.

This home was in a great location in terms of proximity to the beach! If you’re unfamiliar with the area it is on a fairly steep hill, but it’s not a long walk to the main drag. The kitchen was well equipped and bathrooms had standard amenities which made for an easy stay. Cute, comfortable, and well appointed! Made for a great family trip over Thanksgiving!

House was in a great location for the price. I specifically booked this place based on the air conditioning amenity (which it didn’t have when we got there) and it was a rather warm weekend in Manhattan which is why I wanted the AC option. The downstairs bathroom shower was not the cleanest and possibly needs some grout work, it felt impossible to find a full mirror through out the house besides in the upstairs bedroom closet (which is very minor, but for a girls weekend it was a struggle). Received ZERO checkout instructions for the house prior to leaving. Attempted a phone call to ask for instructions so I didn’t get charged, but no answer and no phone call returned. Host communication was ok.. just seemed like for this place being on VRBO for a year there would be more clear expectations for checkout. She did let us check in an hour early which was a plus!
