The Blackhawk Avenue Loft is located in the center of Historic Downtown Prairie du Chien. The apartment was recently renovated and is now available as a great getaway space. The loft is open concept living room, dining room and kitchen. There are two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. hardwood floor throughout and tile in the bathrooms. You are within walking distance to the Mississippi River, St. Feriole Island and the Prairie du Chien Marina. All of the downtown restaurants, bars and shops are within one block or two from this location.

Judy was an excellent host. She was very responsive. She also gave us great recommendations on places to eat and attractions to visit. The location was great and walkable to many places.

Our stay here was great. Perfect location and walkable to many shops and restaurants. The place was updated and provided with all amenities we needed. There were also bottles of water, pizza and ice cream provided too. We would definitely stay there again. Judy our hostess was very responsive and provided us with excellent instructions on the place, as well as suggestions for restaurants to try in the area.

We had a great weekend in Prairie staying at the loft. The location is perfect ifyou enjoy the nightlife as everything is in walking distance. There was a group of 6 of us and the loft is very roomy and comfortable. It was neat and clean and very homey and the mattresses were some of the most comfortable I have slept on! Judy was great to deal with and very quick to respond when I had questions. I would definately reccommend this place and will most likely stay again!

Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed this place! It was great being right downtown with access to eat -drink-shop all within walking distance. Would highly recommend!

Excellent location

The owner was very communicative and ensured everything was ready for us. Very thoughtful! We were close to everything downtown and able to walk everywhere! Great place!

Perfect place in PdC

Such a great space. The hosts were quick to respond if I had a question. Little thoughtful additions, tissues etc. made our stay wonderful.

Great location

Myself and a few friends came down for St. Patrick’s day weekend. It is the perfect location within walking distance to all the bars and you can even watch the parade right from the living room. Will definetely consider coming again.

Nicely located property close to the Black Hawk which has great bands. The rooms were very clean however the stairway leading to the property need to be updated especially the back door area.

Great location

Inside is modern and great looking. Look. The stairs up to the rooms are in need of remodel. Kinda scary to be honest. But that’s it. I recommend and will stay there again without a thought.

Nice apartment in downtown PdC

I really enjoyed my stay at this lovely loft apartment! Very comfortable and plenty of room for a girls weekend. It was very nice to be able to walk to some of our favorite restaurants & bars in the downtown area. I could easily walk to St F’s island, the park and The Villa Louis. My only recommendation for the owners ( as I have a VRBO rental in northern WI ) is to provide a few more cooking essentials like pots and pans in the kitchen. Thank you!

Great location!

Great place and location. Great communication with host. No hot tub as advertised but host said that it was a mistake and would correct the listing. Only issue was the neighbor woke us up several times yelling and cussing in the middle of the night. Host said they would address the issue. Thank you!
