The house is beautiful and very spacious. The outside areas are very welcoming. The drive to Mammoth Caves was very pleasant.

Our group of 8 adults, 7 children (ages 7 - 14), and 2 small dogs had an incredible stay. The house is perfect! The hot tub and air hockey table were big hits! We watched basketball, cooked meals, played games, and enjoyed each other's company. The kids loved the bunk room, and everyone slept comfortably. The property is beautiful!

Parking was a little surprising compared to the picture. But we had room for the 4 vehicles and a 10' trailer. Don't recommend low clearance vehicles because road was washed out in places. But the house and location to the water was great. Property is very steep not recommended for people with walking difficulties. We had a great time on the water. Plenty of places to shop not far from house. The game room was excellent for kids and adults. Loved the extra kitchen came in handy for the large group we had. I would go back again if we do a big family vacation.

Amazing Lakefront Home

We had a great time during our stay! The house was amazing and exactly as advertised. The views were gorgeous and we loved the hot tub and space for everyone! We will definitely keep this home in mind for future trips! The only suggestion would be made a griddle or larger pots/pans for use since the house accommodates so many people but thats just an above and beyond!

Nolin

The house was beautiful and well equipped. Getting to the property was challenging. It was hard to find and the driveway was very steep. Walking down to the lake is also difficult for children. Overall an amazing property

Perfect size for our large family... but with a few hiccups

First off... the house itself is wonderful. Huge rooms. Plentiful sleeping areas. Pretty much everything you'll need is provided from 2 full kitchens, to a Blackstone Griddle on the deck, nice flat spot for games in the back yard in a VERY hilly environment. Bathrooms/showers were great! Fairly easy access to the lake... The "not so good"... when we arrived at 5:00 for our 4:00 check in... the cleaners were still cleaning and we waited around outside for about 1/2 an hour to let them finish. (Not that big of a deal as we had some of our party showing up later anyway). The reason for the delay was a maintenance issue with the hot tub which never did get repaired during our stay. The gravel lane coming to the house is ROUGH! Theres a lot of construction going on on the way in, and the gravel drive is definitely showing the effects of it.... however... "off the beaten path" is exactly what we wanted, so it didnt bother us that much, but anyone driving a small car or motorcycle would definitely need to take it very slow. All in all it was a great trip with just the little bit of bad luck we're used to running into. House and surrounding area is beautiful and just a short drive to Mammoth Caves and a short walk to the waters edge!

All in all the stay was great. Very well kept house. Plenty of room for us (we had 12 people in the house). Hot tube was excellent. Communication with the host was excellent. They answered questions quickly and were very responsive.There are a couple things that kept the review to 4 and not a 5.1) we selected this house thinking there was access to the river from the house. There afe docks, but they are private docks and renters not allowed on the docks to fish or swim. The listing does say that There is public access and that is correct. However, the only public access is a very small dirtpath that takes you to a steep rocky bank that is unsafe for older people or kids. The "public access sign is covered by a corp of engineer sign and you had to look behind it to even notice if that was the path. That was very disappointing to pay that kind of money and not be able to get to the river to enjoy it especially when there is a dock and other people enjoying a swim or fishing right behind the house and we couldn't do the same.Should have a dock for renters who may have a boat or a place to swim and fishing confusing. The house is so nice and needs to have a dock for people to really enjoy it.2) Master Bath -It has a shower and no tub, which is perfect, but no shelves to put your shampoo/soap and there are no grab bars for elderly people and there really should be slip resistant pads or something to prevent people from slipping.Other than that, it was a great stay.

Great accommodations and host communication. The only “even better if” was if the property was easier to get to…. the gravel roads were hard to drive in and the drive way was tricky to maneuver.

We rented this property to celebrate my Dad’s 70th birthday. There was plenty of room for all 15 of us! This property looks as advertised was very clean and well stocked and the host responded promptly to all communication. The only downfall is that while it is on Nolin Lake you do not actually have any access to the lake so if you are looking for a property that allows lake activities this is not the one.
