Small, simply decorated and newly remodeled (2023), this home will provide you with all the basics you need for your stay.

The space
This very clean and simple house can meet your needs whether you are stopping through for a one night stay, planning a hunting/fishing trip or exploring Southern Illinois - it will work for you !

**If you will be using the futon during your stay**
1. It is very firm
2. We do have a memory foam topper available if you mention that you will use the futon : )

Great stay

Loved this little house. We used it as a stopping point on a longer trip. The host has done a great job of putting together a welcoming place, it felt like coming home after our long drive!

I was able to make a last minute change when the Little House became available for my trip back through. I would much rather stay in this cozy, clean, comfortable little home than any hotel room in the area. Glad it was available again. Highly recommend. Tracie is great as a host! All 5 stars.

I have stayed here several times on trips between Nashville and Iowa. Always immaculate and always has just what we need for a quick stop at a half way point. Tracey is quick to respond to any communication and has all the amenities we need. I will be back again! Thanks Tracey!

Perfect getaway with thoughtful touches

Check in was seamless, property was clean and adorably decorated. Thoughtful touches all around the house and it smelled amazing inside! Definitely recommend this place!

Very cozy and perfect for my 3 night stay! The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in shower was good. There was literally every kitchen appliance and condiment you could ever need! Only bummer was the traffic from the main road starting early am (I am a light sleeper), but there was plenty of earplugs available to use. Overall enjoyed my stay and felt safe being there alone. Would definitely stay again if I’m ever back in area

Perfect place

If you are looking for a perfect place to stay in a small town atmosphere than this is your place. It has all the essentials that somewhere fancy would have without all the fancy pressure. The owners are super friendly and responsive and care that you have a great experience. I would not hesitate booking there again and plan too for the future.

Perfect place for 2-3 people. Super Comfortable. Really felt at home. There was snacks, and coffee provided by owner, along with everything you need to cook a meal, and relax. Definitely loved this place, and I will come back for sure.
