Beautiful, clean place right on the bay. Highly recommend if looking for a true get away. Hosts are present and responsive and even provided us with binoculars to spot dolphins:)

The property, the view and the host were all amazing. One of the best vrbo places we’ve stayed in. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating. If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway, we highly recommend booking this house. You will not regret it.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property or the host. They helped with everything from offering to help carry in luggage to where to go for food and entertainment. The house was beautiful and immaculate. Sunrises and sunsets over Cedar Bay from the front porch was worth every penny.

We had a relaxing and quiet long weekend. The house was clean, kitchen was well equipped. The view was phenomenal. The house was located near the ferry as well as the local market. Sandra, our hostess, was responsive, informative, accommodating and kind. Highly recommend.

The best VRBO stay I’ve ever had! The views are unreal, and location is fantastic for seclusion or a ride to Harkers Island/Beaufort. Cant wait to come back.

Have stayed here the last three years and love it! Sandy and her husband provide exceptional service and hospitality. Made sure we had everything we needed for our trip. 5 stars all around.

Great View

Great place to get away for the weekend. Awesome view of the bay. We had great weather and enjoyed our time. Direct water access from the property would be a huge plus.

great sunrise on Independence Day

Came down for 7/4 weekend. Nice quiet area for such a busy weekend. The sunrise is to die for.

Perfect Getaway

Me and my husband came to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. This place did not disappoint. The owner was extremely friendly and the most helpful. This place was a dream and we will definitely come back

Totally coming back next year

The place is amazing and very cozy, the stars at night are gorgeous because there's no light pollution, there is a quiet there that is so comforting - you hear the water lapping, the fish jumping, the birds cawing at each other and not much else. Plus, Sandy is amazing :-)Highly recommend!

This little piece of heaven is very beautiful! Very clean, and host is very nice & very helpful with anything you need. When we got there there’s a welcome note was waiting for us with some chocolates & gold fish crackers seasoned with old bay seasoning. This place is also stocked with k-cup coffee and the host provided laundry detergent & dryer sheets. We are definitely be back next year!

Excellent choice!

We rented this house for a hunting trip, and glad we did. The host made sure everything was in top notch shape and we had all we needed. House has a beautiful view of the sound! If your looking for somewhere to stay on a hunting trip or nice quaint getaway then look no further. Mrs Sandy’s house is the go to and going to be for years to come!

Our Getaway on Cedar Island Bay

This property is exactly as described! Beautiful view of the bay, nicely furnished and spotless. Everything you could possibly need is provided! We spent a lot of time on the porch facing the bay watching pelicans, fish jumping and enjoying the refreshing breeze! We met the Styrons, the owners. Delightful people, who wanted to be sure we had everything we needed! Be sure to eat dinner at Wild Will's Revenge! We had the most delicious seafood there! We will definitely be returning!

Perfect getaway!

If you want your every need taken care of, this is the place for you! Sandy was a great communicator and made sure we had everything prepared in advance, even so far as offering to let us change weekends when she saw the weather was going to be rainy (we went anyway and had a great time, but this gesture was very generous and thoughtful). The property was one of the most clean that I have ever stayed in. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms stocked with the necessities. The grab-and-go snacks were a life saver before heading to the ferry for a day at Ocracoke. I highly recommend this property and would certainly go back again.

Relaxing Bay View

🌅 This beautiful home was just as advertised and just what I was looking for. The Waterfront view from house and yard is Perfect for the busy person who wants to truly rest and relax away from home. An appreciated amenity was the grab and go breakfast. That special touch was greatly appreciated. The beautifully apportioned home looked brand spanking new in its cleanliness. This rental lives up to its advertising. Also, highly commendable was the host Sandy, who quickly responded and addressed our need.

We’ve stayed in many VRBOs, Sandra was the best host we’ve had. Helpful, courteous and kind. I booked this looking for a peaceful getaway and it more than lived up to my hopes. The nights were so quiet, and when the sky is clear at night you can see all the stars. I could sit, inside or out, all day and watch the birds and fish jumping. The ferry to Ocracoke is less than 5 minutes away and is a lovely day trip and boat ride. We enjoyed exploring Morehead City and Beaufort and Emerald Isle. It’s about an hour’s drive to the Morehead City area but it’s the most peaceful drive ever with amazing views of the water and wildlife. Grateful for the hospitality and already booked a return trip. Thank you, Sandra.

The place has a beautiful look over the water!They have everything you need including coffee, sweeteners and a few snacks. Large space to park plenty of vehicles including large boats. Especially since there are two boat ramps near by.

An immaculate hidden gem on Cedar Island!This vacation rental was outstanding. Everything was absolutely immaculate—even the appliances looked brand new! Sandy the Host sets the bar with her attention to detail and responsiveness. Cedar Island offers an untouched, natural beauty you just can't find anymore. Instead of condos, stores, and traffic, you get 45,000 acres of beautiful marsh teeming with wildlife. Location-wise, it is perfect. You are just 5 minutes from the Ocracoke ferry and only 40 minutes from coastal, All-American towns with a variety of great restaurants. Highly recommend!
