DO NOT RENT FROM REALJOY EVER! It was great until we brought up an issue and then they ghosted us. Bed was terrible and we had to remove the box spring just in order to sleep through the night and basically slept just on the mattress on the ground for 9 days. RENTERS BE WARNED!

We’re sorry the bed made it difficult to sleep and that you felt ignored after raising the issue. We understand how frustrating it must have been to spend your stay sleeping with the mattress on the floor. This isn’t the experience we want guests to have, and we’ll share your feedback with our team so the bed and our response process can be reviewed.

Not host problem but soon as we got there, got stuck in elevator so that made 2 out of 3 elevators not workin. Shower head poor pressure, water leak under kitchen sink, faucet in bathroom leaking. Needs exterminating,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay overall, but we’re sorry several maintenance concerns impacted your experience. We appreciate you bringing the shower pressure, plumbing leaks, and pest concerns to our attention so our team can address them. We also understand how frustrating the elevator situation was upon arrival. While the elevators are maintained by the Mainsail community and outside of our direct control, we know that certainly isn’t the way anyone wants to start their vacation. Thank you again for your feedback. We’ll use it to make sure the items within the condo receive the attention they need.

Perfect condo

It met all the basic criteria. when they say steps to the beach they mean it - about 10 steps. Feels like you are in your own private home with beautiful gulf views. We've stayed at Mainsail for 12 years. and this is out favorite unit.

Great vacation

We loved our first family fall break trip! The unit was super easy to get to and very nice and clean. Had a view of the pool and could see the beach. Very close to shopping and our favorite restaurants. We were a little disappointed with the pool, we assumed it was so cold because the hurricanes just came through and they may have had to drain and refill but we met another couple who had been coming 13+ years and said it is always cold. We will definitely be visiting again though!

Great girls weekend

Description is accurate for this unit. They do have a keurig coffee maker that is not shown. Communications and checkin very easy. Great view of the beach. No beach chairs and umbrella included. The kitchen is not what I would consider “well stocked” but everything we needed was provided… just not abundant. I would stay here again!

It was just ok. There were some things that need improvement that I messaged the host about. They weren't deal breakers but it was things I wish I had known before we got there so I could have brought my own stuff. There was only 1 kitchen towel and no oven mits. It very much felt like a hotel stay and was missing the warmness of a family owned condo that I have stayed in previously. It was very clean and I loved all of the stainless steel pots and pans. I would stay again but would make sure I brought extras towels and oven mits. The master bathroom shower head needs to be replaced and I would suggest using a different curtain material for the long window by the front door. Its a direct shot to the guest bathroom toilet and you can see straight in from outside the condo (pic included). The weather stripping on the bottom of the door needs to be replaced and there was no globe over the master bedroom light (pics included). There was a fake deadbolt on the front of the door and no lock at the top so it made it easy for my toddler to open. And that was very nerve racking. The butter tray at the top of the fridge was missing and there was a broken chair with a dangerous piece sticking up. Not complete deal breakers but made the experience just ok.my biggest issue was how easy it was to open the main door and trying to keep my toddler away from it constantly so he wouldn't run out.

Sweet digs

We were very comfortable in the condo! Only problem we encountered was the spatula that we needed to turn eggs over easy was broke so it messed up my eggs! Also I needed a whisk to make gravy without lumps! Not really anything bad just not home!

Dated, bathroom needs to be regrouted

The condo was exactly as pictured. It was quite dated. The tile in the bathroom was old and the grout had black mold growing on it. I purchased a scrub brush and tile cleaner, but it was impossible to get clean. The shower doors also had mold growing on the gaskets. The grout and the shower doors need to be replaced.

Beautiful condo

This condo is in a gated community. I felt very safe. I am so thankful we choose this condo. The beach is only a few steps away. You can see the pool and hot tub from the balcony. I could watch my teenagers in the hot tub, while sitting on the balcony. They also have a beautiful view of the ocean. The on-site gym also was great. Across the street there are outlet stores, a grocery store and lots of restaurants to choose from. We found the condo to be very clean. I did not see any tile issues another guest reported. Perhaps the tile was fixed after their stay. I am glad we choose this condo. We drove by others we has looked at. This is the only condo that was directly on the beach. Other condos you had to cross the road to get to the beach. The beach is beautiful. Crystal clear blue water and white sand. We loved your condo. Thanks for sharing it with our family!

Left early

To start, we did not book this condo, but were moved here by property manager (RealJoy) as there was construction where we originally chose. Had the listing shown updated photos (not when it was built), we would NOT have chosen this condo. The overall condition is in serious need of repairs, updating, etc. The mold on the tile in bathrooms, dirty grout everywhere (you can see original color), bugs in kitchen sink that showed up each morning, Shower heads that do not work, broken tile, rotting door frames, original mattresses, couches that we were not comfortable sitting on. We left 3 days (2 nights) early to cut our losses.

Jennifer, Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience. We regret that you left your vacation early; however, your experience was not at this property. While this was the property you originally chose, this unit was out of service due to exterior building maintenance. This condo has had many upgrades over the last 12 months and we invite you to choose it again next time you visit our beautiful beaches. We think you'll be very pleased. Thank you for choosing RealJoy.

Property problems

It was a little stressful.. Day one..WFI..that was resolved fairly quickly.. Mon/tues there was jackhammers in the condo above starting 8:00am..off & on all day. Mon am there was an inch or water in condo hall and front bedroom..we mopped up twice and then finally someone came in the afternoon, cut a hole in drywall and fixed the leak..the mess and wet towels remained there the rest of the week.. The condo definitely needs updated..with new decor and more comfortable furniture .. The master bathroom shower doors were rusty and fell off the tracks easily.. I really think we need a partial refund … due to the problems…

Pam, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We are sorry that the construction was not what you were expecting. The listing clearly states, "*Mainsail Condominiums is currently undergoing roofing work through Winter 2023. Occupants of all Mainsail Buildings may hear construction noise during the work hours of 8-5." Additionally, the rate you were given was discounted to reflect the inconvenience of the work during your stay. The leak has been fixed and the shower door replaced. We hope you were able to enjoy some time on our beautiful beaches and had a safe trip home. Thank you for choosing RealJoy.
