The property was delightful. The furniture and bed were comfortable. It was located on a winding road with no neighbors in sight, which made it very quiet and peaceful. Our host, Joshua, was thoughtful and communicative which left us at ease. We'll always remember our stay for our 35th wedding anniversary fondly.

The location was perfect for exploring both the Sonoma and Napa regions. It was a very beautiful and serene property, which felt like you were in Tuscany, Italy. Joshua was very accommodating and had good recommendations for the surrounding area. The site was very clean and had everything you needed. I personally enjoyed having a charcoal grill to prepare meals on.This is undoubtedly the best place in the area for a quiet couples retreat!

This was a trip to meet with my cousins for a short week in wine country CA. We are all in our 70’s. We stayed here and my cousins elsewhere. This is an exceptional lodging venue. The atmosphere is wonderful, quiet and peaceful, excellent hosts, great location off the beaten path. We would stay here again without hesitation.

This cottage is unbelievable! So cozy, beautiful, fully equipped, quiet and great location!

Out of This World

We wanted to get out of the city for a few days of quiet relaxation. It was the perfect spot to be cozy inside the beautifully appointed guest house or enjoy outdoors at a nearby state park. The hosts were friendly and attentive. The property matched the description and then some! We highly recommend staying in this lovely place.

Amazing villa retreat in wine country

We enjoyed our stay at the villa guesthouse in Glen Ellen! It was a gem of a weekend escape. With thoughtful touches throughout the house and a sparkling clean state upon arrival, we were immediately able to enjoy the beautiful, peaceful location. Joshua and Tim were wonderful hosts. Quiet, secluded cottage for a perfect getaway

We *loved* our stay at this property! It was so quiet and peaceful, with wildlife sightings and the privacy we craved for our anniversary getaway, yet within easy driving distance to everything—wineries, restaurants, shops, etc. The cottage itself was gorgeous, with everything we needed for our stay. It was clean, spacious, and the communication with the owners were fantastic. Joshua and Tim were so gracious and welcoming. We can't wait to visit again!

Wonderful relaxing getaway

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful villa in a lovely, quiet setting. The hosts have equipped the place through and through -- terrific kitchen, thoughtful and beautiful furnishings, great sound system, etc. Joshua and Tim provided terrific recommendations for things to do in the area, and we took advantage of their advice on restaurants, hikes, and nearby cultural sites. We will be recommending our friends to stay here on their next visit to the Wine Country ... and I suspect we will be back, too!

Peaceful paradise

Truly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful place. We slept so well, with windows open and cool temperatures at night. Waking up to total peace with only turkeys, squirrels, and bird sounds. Loved watching the deer on the property and having such privacy. Joshua was the perfect host and we had everything we could have ever needed. I highly recommend this beautiful place and hope to return myself in the very near future.

Picture perfect!

The property grounds were absolutely gorgeous. With deer guests everyday eating the olive trees. We had everything we needed. The house was very clean and nice. Glen Ellen is such a cute town with wineries and restaurants right down the road. We will be returning. Cheers!
