This charming lake house is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Located in the scenic Shawneeland, away from the busy life of Washington DC, this property offers stunning views of the lake and plenty of space to enjoy indoors or even outdoors. Complete serenity, privacy, and quiet enjoyment with modern amenities yet vintage elements still permeate and lend to the charm of the home, with everything updated with a luxurious finish.

The house features 2 sunrooms with floor-to-ceiling windows to gaze out of. Both sunrooms lead out to huge decks. Each bathroom is designed in elegant black and white, with jetted shower panels with six different modes and designer faucets.

You can't help but be wowed by the 14ft vaulted wood ceiling that is original to the house, with twinkling bird-like lights that float throughout the house to create an amazing lighting effect. Then the clever long white 11ft countertop that is part of the stair design goes to the lower level. The countertop flows from the kitchen along the living space, contributing to the open floor plan of the house. At the end is a cozy corner to read or simply relax.

The first level boasts a sophisticated black and white kitchen with a quartz countertop and stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, electric stove, garbage disposal, air fryer, and coffee maker with an elegant modern faucet.

To further entertain yourself, feel free to wander downstairs and take advantage of the vintage bar or sit on the bar stools and play a round of chess or checkers. Or enter the inner lounge area to enjoy the fireplace. The lower level is naturally cooler, so for those who enjoy a cooler space, this is for you.

The space
A tranquil haven, true relaxation you will experience as you sit in the sunrooms and gaze out the floor-to-ceiling windows. It brings my 7-year-old autistic daughter tremendous calm and happiness, and I expect it will do the same for you, too. See you soon.

The neighborhood beach is only a 5-10 minute walk away. The lakehouse shares the same shoreline. (NOTE:The beach is now not usable)

However, The Cove Campground is also 10 minutes away, which you can also visit. They offer Camping - Swimming - Hiking - Fishing - Boating - Cabins - Hot Showers - Target Range

The city is only 15 min drive away, all nicely paved roads, and easy access.

Other things to note
The lake is currently receding, and the county plans to repair people still fish, but may not be ideal for swimming at this time.
