Awesome 5/5 Stars. We love this house and stay here ourselves during the summer when we visit. The private yard and back porch evenings is lovely. Everything we need but the fresh food is there. I just ADDED two twin beds downstairs so grandma doesn’t have to climb stairs and can be close to the bathroom. Perfect situation. Other bedrooms are upstairs.

Auburn Safari House is a great NEW addition in short term renting near downtown Auburn, NY. We did a great kitchen. It is bright, cheerful and homey. Glad you enjoyed your stay.

We are so happy that we added the new standard wood crib in the master bedroom. Now families can be with their infant. There is a audio monitor so you may be downstairs while the infant is upstairs sleeping. Thank you for the great but short review. The walk through bedroom was important to you and we know it works for some and not for others. We mention that it is a walk through bedroom in the listing. You may have missed that. The two bedrooms upstairs are sharing a wall and the bedroom #2 is a walk through to the master. We do have a shoji screen there for some privacy.

Perfect for short stays

Wife and I stayed for a wedding in Auburn. Nice little house for a quick weekend in the area. Very close to downtown Auburn/Owasco Lake and neighboring Skaneateles

I appreciate your great review. Sorry the weather didn’t cooperate for you. Since your stay we have added a bedroom (2 singles (30x72”), an AC for that room, a standard crib in the master with a baby sound monitor, a complete new set of pots and pans AND AN ELECTRIC CAR CHARGER 🔌.

A Great Little Place to Stay

We admittedly didn't spend much time at the house because we spent most of our time at a horse show, but we found the property perfect for our needs. We did have an issue with check in, but the host very promptly got us our check in instructions and we very much enjoyed the rest of our stay.

Weekend Stay

Clean and comfortable. Bedroom layout a little awkward having to go through one bedroom to get to the other bedroom.

No more hotels

My husband needs a place to stay for work and this place was exceptional. He definitely enjoyed his stay and would never go back to staying in a hotel if possible. The place is immaculate and Deanne was very patient and very helpful as a host.

Better option than hotel

Easy access and nice neighborhood. Dad and teenage daughter weekend trip so she was happy to habe her own room. Had home cooked meals instead of over priced restaurant food. Cozy home as expected from listing. Would definitely do again if in town.

This 2 bedroom residential house is city approved as a short termed rental. Cute design and perfect for families. Enclosed yard with back deck.

Decent

Good for a quick stay, but not much longer. Overall clean, but sparse amenities throughout: Updates needed in the kitchen; a larger TV would be a plus; and beds / linens need to be upgraded. Not a bad stay, but a little pricey for what is offered.

We like to change the rooms around periodically so the TV isn't mounted and is the largest I trust for a table type. I think it is 38 inches. We have a complete set of pans from Walmart with an extra frying pan. we also provide a Mr Coffee maker, toaster, microwave. Your hint that knobs on the cupboards would be an addition you would like I will take seriously and put them on the list. It is a good value for families visiting the area. The big fenced yard and the RV or boat parking is a big plus for some people ..

This place was cute. If ya don’t like bugs…this place is not for you! Air conditioners worked amazing! Easy access to everything in Auburn!

This house worked well for us as a couple. The bedroom setup was a little odd and would not work well for multiple couples if you were looking for privacy as the you have to walk through one of the suitable bedrooms (Queen bed) for adults to get to the main bedroom (King bed). The 3rd bedroom is small and has 2 smaller than average twin beds. The house as a whole was good for us, but we wouldn’t want to split it with a second couple, however it would be good for a family with kids.

Nice house in Auburn

This house was just right for the three of us. We are originally from the area so the location was perfect for us. It was great having a washer and dryer. The hair dryer was missing and the owner brought me one that night. The bathroom was on the first floor so you had to navigate the stairs carefully but the stairs were well lit.The house was very comfortable. A ceiling fan in the bedroom would be nice and a stopper for the sink in the kitchen.

Great place to stay. Near the lakes. Enough space for a19 ft boat.

Very clean property. Short drive close to the lakes. Nice for a cozy get away for 2. My partner and I were able to park a 19 ft boat on the property with no problem so we could boat on Oswasco lake and Skaneateles lake. Oswasco Lake was beautiful and quiet. On the day it rained we were able to spend some time in Auburn. Very historical town. The Willard Chapel was beautiful and a must see. Great pubs for a day or night out. The host was reachable prior to our stay and answered any questions we had very quick to respond. Very clean house, the rooms were cool, cozy and comfortable. Small deck in the back with a fenced in area. Definitely would recommend staying here and will tell friends about this place. We will stay here again. Nice time away from home.

Auburn is my birth place and my mother's birth place. We have been a part of Auburn since the early 1900's when it was a hopping place with lots of factories. My grandmother and grandfather came from Poland and ended up in Auburn for work about 1920.

I chose this house because it was the perfect size, cute and in a quiet, good neighborhood. I stay here myself in the spring and fall.

The house is uncluttered with plenty of amenities. It is easy to clean and to care for when we are visiting. I like the neighborhood and we can park anything in the driveway. There is a private backyard we like to sit in and relax in the evenings.
