Cozy Lake Cottage and just a short drive into the village of Skaneateles!

Renovated Carriage House with an open concept throughout. This Lake Cottage is great for entertaining or for a quiet getaway! The French doors add character and natural light to brighten up the space. Custom kitchen complete with Farm House sink and stainless appliances including a dishwasher and washer dryer. Cozy living & entertainment area with Vermont Casting Gas Fireplace to keep you warm during the cold months. Spacious Master Bedroom complete with Fireplace and a King Sleigh Bed & a Master Bathroom with Double Vanity and custom tile work. Book now for a romantic Spring getaway or a week in the summer to enjoy the lake for swimming, boating, fishing or just relaxing! Lake Access is just steps on a short pathway along side the Main Lakehouse and leads to a private stairs and dock. Only minutes from the historic village of Skaneateles and a short drive to enjoy all that the finger lakes region has to offer!

*Please note our lake cottage is not directly on the lake but does have private lake access. We also do not provide propane for the grill.

We loved this beautiful property by the water ! Sitting on the dock with a good book and a glass of wine was most delightful! The lake is absolutely stunning! The owner responds promptly to messages . The rental was spacious and perfectly situated close to town . This will be a rental you return to again and again!

What a wonderful find. The cottage was clean and comfortable. Loved sitting on the dock reading a book early in the morning. I hope to return next summer

Great location in a cute neighborhood on the water. It had everything we needed to have a great long weekend on the Lake.

Lovely setting. Spacious. A bit dated, with a hodge podge of items, without that fresh vacation vibe. Generally clean but questionable with crumbs under sofa pillows upstairs. Dust bunny’s near beds. Bath rug needed replaced. Overall it was clean, with a nice walk to to the lake & short drive to town.

Clean yet had water pressure is at around 18lbs of pressure. It barely had enough pressure to hold the bath spigot shower valve to divert water to the shower head. The hidden path to the lake brought us to a slippery staircase to the lakes edge. The floating floor to the master bedroom buckles because it was poorly installed. The 8 garbage pails of rotting garbage was disgustingly gross smelling. With the expectations of the guest responsibilities this place was overpriced and subpar for this VRBO rental.

We had a great stay overall. The place was very cute, clean, and comfortable, and it worked perfectly for our quick family trip. The lake setting was beautiful and relaxing.The only minor issues we experienced were low water pressure and that the hot water wasn’t working the morning we left, so everyone ended up taking cold showers before the long drive home. Since the property is on the lake, the water pressure may just come with the location.Other than that, we really enjoyed the property and appreciated how clean and welcoming everything was.

Comfortable, beautiful, easy! Comfortable bed, very clean. Easy to find. Most of the pans in the kitchen are scratched Teflon, which is dangerous (PFAS), so I hope they replace them with something nontoxic. Overall though, great, would stay again!

Amazing place, location, price

My family had a wonderful week long trip in this cabin. It was clean, well equipped and was super close to the lake. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Would love to stay again!

Family vacation!

We had a very nice stay! We were under 10 mins from downtown skaneatlas and it was awesome this place allowed dogs so we had our pooch launch of the lake deck playing fetch the whole weekend.

Rooms were clean and ready for use. Some areas of the cottage could use an extra sweeping for cobwebs. Overall, super cozy, clean, and wonderful location. Thank you for offering this cottage on VRBO.
