We found the cottage very cozy. We had some initial questions while booking, and the host was very responsive. There was great communication. Check in and out were very smooth. The glider at the end of the pier was a welcome respite despite the turn of much cooler weather.

Beautiful setting and one of the best views of the lake. So peacefull waking up to the sound of the water. My husband and I arrived on Wed. Our daughter and husband and one year old came on Thursday night. Perfect for our grandaughter. Little beach area was perfect. Our stay was awesome. Very comfortable rooms. Very clean. Cute little neighborhood. Playground near by that we biked to. Brought our pontoon boat which we were able to dock at the place. Couldn't have asked for a more accomadating, perfect and comfortable place to stay. Thank you Joan and Chris hope to visit again.Donna and Dave

My friend and I had a wonderful stay! Joan and Chris have a lovely cottage, which was very clean and right on the water. The AC unit kept it cool and comfortable on the warmer days. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need! The bathroom is a good size, with a walk-in shower, equipped with a grab bar and bench, for those who need it. The sounds of the lake and the view from the back room were spectacular! We especially loved this room, that has a bed, desk, table and two chairs, as well as a large futon, making it the perfect place to relax and to watch the sun set in the evening. The dock has a rocker bench, two adirondack chairs, and an umbrella. Sitting in the side yard is peaceful, equipped with rocking chairs, a firepit, and a table and chairs on the back patio. The neighbors were very kind and kept to themselves. Joan and Chris responded promptly to my emails and were great hosts! We appreciate them sharing their family cottage with us for a long, weekend getaway! We definitely plan to return next year for a longer stay! Jenn F. room

We loved our stay in the cottage right on the water. So peaceful and a perfect get a way for my husband and I. Definitely recommend sleeping in the room overlooking the water. A perfect way to wake up. Easy to cleanup and loved the historical aspect. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful long weekend.

Wonderful cabin right on the lake. Everything was as described. It was a great launching point to enjoy all that the finger lakes have to offer.

This home was just right for us, it was clean and very nicely decorated. The location was great and the owners were very easy to deal with and very easy to get a hold of.We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing

Quiet Escape for 2

Beautiful views, quiet setting, cozy house on the water. This is the perfect place for a quiet escape to recharge, reconnect and just enjoy the moment. Highly recommend this home for your next lake visit.

quaint and charming

The hosts were very helpful and knowledgeable with the area, the location was great and we were able to enjoy more of the surrounding lakes, definitely relaxing and peaceful, it had cottage charm and just enough room for 5

Girls kayak weekend

The property was beautiful, the view was amazing and the neighbors were very nice and helpful. It is an excellent location for kayaking, checking out the local wineries or just relaxing by the water

Relaxing vacation

Very nice property. Great views. Friendly neighbors. We enjoyed feeding the resident ducks. At night we could relax to the sound of the water lapping at the shore.

Beautiful view

The cottage is as described right near the lake with a beautiful view. Very clean and comfortable inside and out. Lake area was a bit seaweedy but we went swimming at a nearby park. Great fireworks show July 4. Neighbors very nice and we enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks Chris and Joan!

All Weather Lake View

We have never stayed so close to the waters edge anywhere else! The sunporch was perfect for chilly weather lake views complete with bed, table, chairs & a couch too!

Keuka College 40th Class Reunion

This summer home is located close to the lake shore and it is level. It is a very warm, comfortable and inviting atmosphere. It was peaceful and just what we needed. We would definitely stay there again!
