The property was great and the host welcoming, went above and beyond my expectations. I will definitely stay here when I'm in Oro Valley again. Expedia experience was definitely 'wanting' as it made communicating with the host very difficult.

Very cute casita. Perfect for me and hubby. Property is clean and well-maintained. Gorgeous views! Host was fantastic and very accommodating. Would stay here again and refer friends/family coming to the Tucson area.

I stayed here last year and was so pleased to see it was available for my trip this year. The place is so comfortable, everything you need is here, its like an oasis in the desert! I was in need of a monitor so I could work while on vacation and Lizzie responded right away, bringing me a monitor and a HDMI cord for my use. I felt safe and secure being a woman in her 60's travelling alone, I would recommend it for visitors of all ages and will definitely return again next year, or sooner if I have the opportunity.

Beautiful location with stunning views!

A darling casita with the most wonderful views! As ‘advertised’, the sunsets were spectacular! Our host was just lovely and very responsive to any questions we had. She and her husband were simply great!

Perfect for Nature Lovers!

Very much enjoyed our stay! Hiking trails very close to the property that lead straight up into the Santa Catalina Mountains. Breathtaking desert views. Host, Lizzie, was communicative, welcoming, and accomodating!

Cute cottage

Our host was extremely easy to communicate with. The place is super cute, good for 2 people. Beautiful views. It is rough terrain getting there.

Thanks for you review. I don’t agree it’s rough terrain many cars travel the road and I have a small suv which isn’t a problem at all. It is dirt but maintained by the hoa. I guess our definition of rough terrain is very different. Thanks again for staying.

Sweet little casita

Lizzie is a very responsive host and has thought of everything a traveler might want or need. The casita is a small space but very well organized and comfortable. Lizzie has added many nice personal touches!

It was spacious , lots of room to unpack and hang things . The bed and pillows were sooooo comfortable, the kitchen had everything anyone would need. There were so many unexpected extras and extremely clean . I came alone but next time I will certainly bring my husband. It will be my "go to " vacation spot from now on.

It's always best to check distances to your activities before booking. It's about 10 min from shopping and restaurants but if you want nightlife and city activities best to stay in Tucson. We're more known for outdoor activities including star gazing, amazing mountain & sunset views, quiet, hiking/biking trails and bird watching:)Thanks for staying!:)

Perfect place to stay

What a fantastic little apt! Super clean with comfy furniture and everything you need to make it a home away from home. Lizzie was terrific. The sunsets from this Vrbo were amazing and the dirt road to the unit was well maintained and so fun to use. We have a low clearance Jetta and it was no problem at all. Five stars for everything!

This was my second stay. Want a quiet, serene getaway? This is the place. The separate, private casita is about a mile down a dirt road, with virtually no noise or interruptions. Well-stocked, has everything (including Keurig, washer & dryer) you need. Host is very responsive and non-intrusive. Great walking trails at the top of their lane.

Nice clean space. Up in the hills, along trail, make sure you have google maps loaded. Bed probably needs replacement-sags in middle. 15 min to closest store etc.

Cozy little Casita

This casita is pretty adorable and perfect for a stay in Oro Valley/Tucson. If you love to hike, this is definitely the place for you. Do not let the location deter you, it is an easy gravel road to get to the rental. Make sure if you are coming from the valley to follow your GPS to Golder Ranch Rd. Our GPS tried to take us the other way, which did not appear to be a road we would want to take. If I were to give one suggestion it would be to consider bringing earplugs if it is forecasted to rain. There is an ac unit next to the bed, and with a steady rain there is a constant drip that hits the unit outside and is loud in bed. However, rain is not frequent in this area and you do not want to miss this gem because of a possible dripping sound! Highly recommend a stay here!

Incredible sweeping sunset views of the mountains and desert, near and far. Truly one of the most spectacular sunset views and great outdoor seating areas to take it all in than at any of the other inns, lodges, airbnbs & vrbos I've stayed at in all of southeast Arizona (as a roaming birder its quite a few). Amazing outdoor seating spot. Convenient to nearby stores, restaurants but you feel a world away. The space itself is well accommodated and laid out nicely. Very cozy. As a birder it has good proximity to Sonoran Desert birding spots such as Catalina State Park, Catalina Regional Park, Honeybee Canyon & more. A little over 30 to 40 min to El Rio & Sweetwater. The property itself has Pyrrhuloxia, Rufous-winged Sparrow, Lucy's Warbler, Harris's Hawk, kingbirds, flycatchers, Orioles, hummingbirds Quail & more. Lizzie is very responsive & friendly. An instant favorite location & host.

I don't understand why one star was given when you didn't stay at my property. This was a mistake of VRBO booking a same day listing which isn't allowed, and I never accepted due to being out of town. I'm sorry that happened to you but that is on VRBO not me. I'm a very good host I think it's unfair that you left one star and that this was allowed.
