Welcome to the newly renovated Beach House! This two bedroom, one bathroom rancher is just 4 blocks to the free beaches of the Delaware bay. Enjoy a cool summer night on the front porch. Inside you’ll find your beach escape. The beautiful open living area and kitchen greet you upon entry. The couch opens into a queen size bed. There is a 55” smart TV on an adjustable mount above a beautiful freshwater aquarium. There are 3 seats at the kitchen counter and a table for enjoying snacks and meals. There is ample cabinet space for all your goodies. - French doors lead out to a relaxing sitting area with a and fire pit. Back inside you’ll find a large deep Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom along with plenty of soft and fluffy towels. There is a 24” smart TV mounted above the door to take your spa time to the next level! The guest bedroom features two twin XL beds with a secret – they’re both adjustable with massage! There is a wired closet organizer along with a dresser for plenty of storage space. A 24” smart TV is on top of the dresser and there is a wall mounted 55” TV with a PlayStation 4, bring your own games to enjoy! The master bedroom has a queen sleigh bed, a wooden closet organizer plus a tall dresser for all your storage needs. A wall mounted 55” smart TV is ready for use.

The majority of the house is smart capable via Google assist. The lights - living room, kitchen, bathroom, kitchen cabinet lights, bathroom nightlight. The kitchen cabinet lights and bathroom nightlight can be customized to different colors. The living room and kitchen ceiling fans are voice controlled. There is a Ring doorbell/camera at the front door and 4 additional outdoor security cameras. There are NO indoor cameras. There are 2 offstreet parking spaces available along with on-street parking. The garage, outbuilding, and stone driveway are not included with rental. We stay in the back yard .. so we’re here to help 24 seven if you need anything . We ask that you please remove your shoes upon entering. No parties. No smoking. No pets. Host stays on property . In the back . In a tiny home . Property has 9 cameras . 2 on each corner of the house and one ring doorbell . :) .

We have stayed many places over the years, and we were very happy with this stay. The space was perfect for our family. It was clean, tidy, and homey. It was a short walk from a quiet beach and close to all amenities that we needed. The patio was nice and included a chiminea that we used in the evening. The bathroom was great because there were jets in the tub and a detachable shower head that was very helpful in bathing my toddlers. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this property!

Host was not the most pleasant person to deal with, he was not welcoming at all. From the minute you pull up to the house , the porch was dirty, the furniture was dirty, the welcome sign was old and rusty, grass was not trimmed by the steps.The house did not match the description. Bathroom very small, house was not clean, oven was dirty, the closet was dirty, areas by the bed were dirty.Microwave was not functional because the plate was missing. Living room tv did not work the entire time I was there despite the fact I told him the day I arrived. He said fire stick wasn’t working and didn’t even attempt to come and fix it.All of the windows with the exception of the kitchen had a frosted window film on them so we couldn’t look outside.I would not recommend renting this house.

Nice Place to Stay

I usually stay in wildwood but actually rented this place by accident. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise, the area was quite nice, actually nicer than where I typically stay in wildwood but still close enough to get to the boardwalk. House was clean, host was pleasant. I’d stay here again

Pleasant stay. The house is very clean and the neighborhood is nice. Everything was comfortable and the heated toilet seat was great! We had a great trip in Cape May!!

Owners provided clear instructions and were very responsive. The house was well cleaned and linens all washed. Though owners are in a RV in the back yard, the backyard is gated & separated from their RV grounds. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We'll definitely be returning!

Clean home within walking distance to the Bay

Recommend for a chill experience on the bay with a beach vibe restaurant all within walking distance. Close 10 min drive to the Beach. Home was clean and the host was easily accessible.

Cute beach house

Place was as advertised, cozy and clean. Beds were comfortable, the included linens were a nice plus. Host was easy to get in touch with. TVs included in every room which was nice. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to booking again.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, and the neighborhood quiet. The only modification we would make is to have a bigger bath mat, so no one slips when getting out of the shower/tub. It seemed like having a TV in the bathroom was more of a priority. The host is somewhat responsive.

Nice, close to beach!

It was nice! No washer and dryer though which was stated in what the rental has available! Bathroom was very small but ok, if you are a big person it would of been hard for you to move around!

Although we were concerned when we first arrived, we tried to make the most of our stay. The exterior was not what we expected based on the listing, but we did enjoy the front porch and the quiet North Cape May neighborhood. That said, the outdoor cameras facing the porch made us feel somewhat uncomfortable and less able to talk freely.Unfortunately, the property itself was disappointing. The listing describes the home as “newly renovated,” but the quality of the work was VERY poor, with several issues immediately noticeable during a basic walkthrough. When we turned on the three window AC units, there was dog and cigarette smoke odor, which was unexpected in a recently renovated property.There were also several inaccuracies in the listing. The house is not within walking distance of Cape May Point State Park. The advertised washer and dryer were unavailable because they were locked up. The towels were worn, and the bathroom lacked basic features such as a towel rack, toilet paper holder, and exhaust fan. We also couldn’t find extra pillows or blankets for the pullout couch and ended up purchasing our own.We enjoyed our time in Cape May and the Wildwoods and mostly used the house as a place to sleep and get ready each day. For that purpose, it was adequate. However, because of the condition of the property and the discrepancies in the listing, we will be choosing a different place to stay next time.

Nice!

The property was as advertised. It was great to have clean linens and towels. The request for no shoes being worn inside made for a cleaner house, without that sandy build-up that you often get in homes near the shore. It was a short walk to the bay beach and a nice restaurant on the bay (arrive early to get a table!) The owner was responsive to the few glitches/problems we experienced, such as lack of access to network TV and a problem with the water jets in the tub, so that was helpful. All in all, it was a nice place for our Cape May getaway.

I only gave one star because there was no other option.The house was as advertised on the site. The first thing that hit us was the strong smell of cigarette, my husband who has bad allergies went outside of the property to get fresh air. In less than one hour we left the property and lost all of the money we paid to stay there. I reached out to the host and he did and was responding to me immediately. He denied that the place smelled like cigarettes smoke. We paid more than 800 dollars and lost it all, no offer for made for a refund.

The house was vacant 7 days , prior to this Guest renting . Before that me and my family stayed in the house. 7 days .. we do not smoke .. We have never had a problem with smoking. But when someone wants to get out. Of a booking. And you tell them no this is the way they go about doing it. This property has never had a problem with smoke or any smell of any kind. We offered to clean the house two minutes after she messaged me. We were there four minutes after she message to find the smell, which we could not find. 3 witnesses. There’s no way a house smelled a cigarette smoke when it had no activity for 14 days.

Peaceful close vacation near beach

The house was only a few blocks from beach. It was a very quiet peaceful neighborhood. The house was clean. It was mostly well stocked with what we needed. It did lack privacy. The host lived in back and the back door of property had no blinds . Could see right into kitchen and living area from the RV in back. There was no air conditioner in the bedroom with the twin beds, however there was a ceiling fan. Listing said there was a washer and dryer, ironing board, iron and hair dryer. Didn’t see any of those, but we didn’t need them.

In the listing .. we say , we stay in the back … there’s no rule’s saying we can’t … I like to mention there’s a 7 foot privacy fence wrapped around the whole backyard. You can’t see into the yard. I don’t know why they would say you can’t see you in the yard from the RV if they’ve never been in the RV to see in the yard, they just made that assumption, Maybe if your 8 ft tall … The ironing board is in the laundry room. I’m sure they didn’t check. . Thank you for the review. Even though it has misleading information.

Overnight in Cape May

We wanted to take a quick trip to ape May with our daughter. Spending a day at the beach and driving home the same day would have been too much. We needed separate bedrooms. The cost of two hotel rooms or a suite was too high. This property fit the bill. It was fine for that purpose. Newly renovated, it could use a couple of things: a bar in the shower/ jaquzzi-like bath. Some instructions on house care, and tv. Most channels could be downloaded free, but we did not feel like we should make those moves. Not clear how to get to live tv or cable channels.

This property was perfect for our beach getaway (2 adults & 1 kid age 10). We were a quick drive to a quiet & free beach on the bay (plus free street parking). My daughter and I found lots of pretty Cape May Diamonds and a stones tumbled from the Delaware River. We felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. There were locals walking their dogs and a few beach-goers farther away. Everyone we met was friendly. We were a 10-20 minute drive to shopping, restaurants, the zoo, lighthouse, and boardwalk with rides. Grocery store nearby. The house was cute and clean. We enjoyed the front porch. One drawback was that the washer and dryer were not actually included in the rental. We had packed accordingly because that was an amenity listed, and we planned to do one load of laundry. The bathroom is a tight and awkward space to use comfortably, but it is fine. Overall, we would return to this rental house in the future.
