This was a lovely cabin in a secluded setting. It was large enough for my group of 10. I do think the bathroom showers need some care and the towels were not very absorbent. There were no kitchen towels either. Some of the pans could use updating as well. Other than these small things, it was overall a nice stay.

The drive to the place, was very scary. Lots of dips and bumps and we didnt have much notice for how bad it was. So only complaint was maybe fix the drive. The house wasnt 100% clean missing some items to keep it clean and or trash bags.But we made due. Would reccomend even with these items.

The house is so nice!! It was rainy, so the driveway was difficult to get up for our cars; however, we managed it and got a lot of laughs! We were able to relax and celebrate. I highly recommend!

We rented this for our nephews wedding. Had 12 of us. Had plenty of room for all of us. Comfortable beds and loved the cabin, firepit and extra room to spread out. Hot tub was a plus. Our only issue was one of the vehicles had trouble getting up the steep driveway up to the cabin. They decided to just park and bottom area. It worked out that way. Would definitely rent this place again.

This cabin was PERFECT for our group of 8 on Valentine’s Day weekend! We wanted to get away together and just have a place to hang out, play games and watch sports together and this was the perfect set up. The beds were all very comfortable and we had plenty of towels. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything to cook and enjoy your time. When we arrived, the WiFi wasn’t working due to an ice storm that the had recently but RRG employees came by and had it going in just a short time. They were GREAT! All communication was great as well!4 stars because the cabin could use some upgrades. Both showers need addressed as the basins are cracked and in need of repair and the cabin overall could just use some basic cosmetic attention. But, again, we LOVED our stay!! Thank you!!

We have stayed in a fair amount of vacation homes over the years and I usually rate homes with a five star rating as we really appreciate owners opening up their homes to us for our use on vacations. This home fit our family's needs on paper. It is spacious and had the correct configuration for our extended family of seven. We did read the reviews so did realize ahead of time that the last 1/2 mile of the gravel drive is a challenge. It is deeply rutted and hard to drive over without messing up your alignment. The cabin itself has seen better years. The grill was beautiful and clean which we appreciated. The mattresses were super soft which is great if you like being swallowed by a mattress (mixed reviews from family members). Towels were synthetic and not absorbent. The kitchen was less than adequate. There were no dish clothes or towels other than one roll of paper towels. There wasn't even a full set of 8 of the silverware. We kept running out of mugs and bowls. There was only one cheap salad bowl and no mixing bowls. Kitchen pans were all old with non-stick finish wearing off. We didn't find the can opener until the last day. Only three packs of dishwasher soap, no liquid dish soap, no strainer in the sink and no pan to wash dishes. The indoor furniture is comfortable but the outdoor furniture is not. We have real mixed reviews on this listing and would not choose to rebook if we are ever in the area.

Beautiful cabin in the woods

This beautiful clean cabin in the woods had plenty of space for my sister and her family and my family (12 of us in total) to enjoy meals, play games on rainy days, soak in the hot tub, play billiards, and enjoy spending time with one another while still being close to the Red River Gorge hiking and underground kayaking. We will consider coming back again in the future.

The property was clean and spacious. We had plenty of room for 10 people. The gravel road getting there was a bit rough with plenty of ruts and potholes. A smaller vehicle will have a difficult time navigating and not bottoming out. But the property itself was great!

Great Space!

We had 2 families stay for 2 nights! Total of 8 people. Everyone had their own bed. The cabin was very easy to check into and we had plenty of space to spread out. We asked for a couple more skillets and they promptly brought them over! We played games, watched movies, sat by fire pit and soaked in hot tub! Very nice cabin!!

Very pleasant cabin

My family really enjoyed the cabin and solitude. Cabin was very clean and quiet. Check in was simple. Will definitely return again. One note however, once i booked, VRBO stated that the address was nada tunnel road and the owner stated address was lower hatcher creek road in stanton, which was 23 miles apart. VRBO has the incorrect address information. In any case, we enjoyed the cabin and would recommend it to others.

Perfect accommodations for what we needed.

This place was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space that kept the 11 of us from feeling crowded. It was clean and well equipped. Location was close enough to all the attractions we went to. Agree with other guest that WIFI would have been nice, but also liked that our teens could not be on their phones and had to socialize with each other. The only thing I suggest is having check out instructions in a hard copy form at location instead of expecting guests to print out and bring along. If they accidentally leave at home they have to leave location to access WIFI....Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Great rental!

Beautiful house/ cabin. Very clean and well supplied. We were a family group of 6 adults and 4 kids. Plenty roomy although another bathroom would have been helpful. New sectionals on both levels were very nice. Nothing looked old and when out. We did have an issue with the clothes washer not working. The drain in one of the shower/ tubs needed a small stone to keep it open. Overall loved this cabin and would definitely book it again!!

RRG Hike 24

Overall our group had a great experience at this property. A few minor issues were encountered but nothing major. It would be nice to have internet service and better cell service, but this didn't raise any complaints from the group. We could make calls after walking a short distance down the driveway. We had a group of 13 and had plenty of room. This property was very secluded. The road became a private drive just past the driveway.

Remote cabin in the woods.

Stayed with a group of friends. Spacious house with plenty to do. Absolutely no cell service on verizon, att or tmobile and no wifi. Deck needs work on the underside and there was minor inconveniences like broken mini blinds and lamps without a switch. Other than that, you were given trash bags, dish detergent and laundry soap *we didnt use it*. Nice cabin to get away from it all if the small stuff doesnt bother you.
