Super cute house for a getaway with water access. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had most of the supplies you would need, and there were even s'mores kits to use with the fire pit! We enjoyed watching the wildlife and water from the hot tub and the decks.

I booked because we wanted a relaxing weekend from the kids and it did not disappoint! It was so quiet and peaceful! We really enjoyed the hot tub and movie night combo with the projector! Definitely will be back when it’s warmer to enjoy the kayaks and outdoor area more with the family

What an awesome cabin on the lake. Hot tub in the deck is perfect for star gazing. Highly recommend a nice dinner at Figs in Tool, TX, about 10 minutes away.

Spring Break

We had a really good time at this home for our spring break. The kids really enjoyed going out on the water, fishing and the hot tub! The house is very well maintained. I would highly recommend this home to anyone!

Weekend getaway

My family and I had a wonderful time at this cabin. Very clean and cozy home that had everything we needed for our weekend away. We fished, used the kayaks, swam, enjoyed the hot tub, barbecued and had an all around great family weekend. Any time we had questions the owner was quick to respond and there are so many staples around the house that show they care about your comfort and want you to stay again.

So relaxing

This was a hidden gem!!! Our stay was so relaxing! We visited the local winery that was only 5 minutes away. This home was also relaxing. Thank you for a great weekend. Also fishing off the dock was great.

Perfect Friendsmas

Best friend annual staycation - short drive from DFW to a peaceful cottage on the lake. House was precious, clean, and the communicaiton was 100%. Ruby even put up a Christmas tree for us! Thanks again - we can't wait to come back.

My husband, son and I stayed for a weekend in late October & despite getting some heavy rain, we had an amazing weekend. The home was very comfortable and the owner was both responsive and helpful. We were particularly impressed with all the details - things like mirrors, hooks, lighting, and extra supplies to make the stay comfortable. You could tell they take pride in their home and making their guests comfortable. Recommend visiting local wineries while you’re in the area! We also had a great meal at Wings Over Gun if you’re looking for a small sports bar atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back in warmer weather to experience the lake!!

Cozy and comfortable

This property is beautifully remodeled. It has luxury and lots of thoughtful personal touches. The hot tub and outside spaces are great. I saw hummingbirds on the deck, ducks and a beautiful black cat (at a distance). The Hideaway house has everything you need for a comfortable relaxing stay.

We had a great stay! The house is beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches, and we especially enjoyed the game selection and peaceful setting. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the hot tub was a relaxing bonus. There’s even a movie projector and screen you can view from the hot tub — such a fun idea, though we didn’t get a chance to use it.There were a few things that could use attention, but we’ve shared those directly with the owner. They were very responsive during our stay, so we expect these will be addressed for future guests.Overall, a lovely spot for a relaxing getaway!

My parents loved it!

Booked for my parents. They absolutely loved it! Owner thought of everything you would need. My kids loved playing on the kayaks when we visited during the day and my parents loved drinking their coffee on the back patio every morning! House was decorated so cute, and my Dad specifically said he appreciated how nice and sturdy the furniture was!

Great getaway

Booked for girls getaway for my daughters 18 bday ! We absolutely enjoyed our stay , it was very peaceful and had great amenities. The girls loved watching the projector tv while they were soaking all their worries away in the hot tub, enjoyed smores at the fire pit and had dinner on the deck . All together I highly recommend this hideaway for anyone looking to get away for acouple of days. The host was one of the nicest I have had from any of my previous stays at other locations and I really appreciated her service . We will definitely be booking another trip in the future.
