Make our newly-built, fully-furnished vacation cabin your home away from home. Pack light – we’ve thought of everything to make your getaway complete. Our fully-stocked kitchen includes everything but your food: dishes, flatware, pots & pans, glasses & mugs, baking ware, mixing bowls, crock pot, blender, hand mixer, microwave, waffle maker, popcorn popper, coffee maker, toaster and more! Our cabin sleeps 6 and comes with bedding, extra blankets, and towels. Enjoy family fun outside with our gas grill, patio furniture, porch swing, glider, and campfire ring. The area is full of wildlife and natural beauty. Just in case you get a rainy day, we have a smart TV with several subscription channels, DVD player with lots of movies, board games, cards, ping pong, checkers, darts, and a small reading library. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, we are close to area attractions like the Pine Creek Rail Trail (voted the best place to hike by USA today!) and class A trout fishing on Pine Creek, and hiking, the Pine Creek is also popular for tubing and boatingz Located about 45 minutes away from the PA Grand Canyon and star gazing at the International Dark Sky Park at Cherry Springs, the PA Lumber Museum, and many more.

Great Pine Creek Property

Just spent an amazing weekend at this property. Perfect location close to all the fun stuff. Property was extremely clean and well kept. The screened in porch is a bonus, especially when the bugs are bad at night.

Relax and recharge

Although it was rainy the week we stayed, we were able to hang out around the firepit every night. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and very quiet, so we were able to relax and recharge during our stay. It was just what we needed! Highly recommend staying there and we plan on returning in the future!

Great Stay

We stayed in this cabin for a few days and it was a great experience. The rooms were clean, the main area was spacious, and it was overall well furnished. The views from the cabin itself and the fire pit made our time there extremely enjoyable. Hopefully we’ll be able to come back next year!

Petticoat Trip 2024

We come to this area every year for over 50 years. The county helps this area still feel untouched by our growing population in the US. The house had absolutely everything we needed and more. Will come again for sure!

Peaceful Getaway

We had a wonderful stay, the location is quiet and secluded. Although we got rainy weather the TV and board games kept everyone happy. We loved being able to eat in seeing as how there is not much around (Hotel Manor did have good food - the one night we ate out). An absolutely beautiful location with everything you need!

Peaceful Hideaway

We enjoyed the woods from the many windows. Would love to come back in warmer weather to relax on the deck or screened porch. Fall in Cedar Run is beautiful. The cabin is clean. The location is quiet.

Weekend Mountain Getaway

5 stars are not enough. Fantastic location, beautiful modern cabin, quiet, private and well appointed. Hosts were spot on with any questions we had. We will definitely consider coming back, likely with friends or family.

Black Forrest Adventure

We were looking for a place to stay close to the Black Forrest Trail to return to each night after hiking sections of the trail instead of sleeping out on the trail. This cabin exceeded our expectations in every way. It is so beautiful and well-appointed. We enjoyed returning each night and relaxing and talking on the deck. The air conditioning and a shower after a long day on the trail in the heat were definitely appreciated. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a great place to stay close to Slate Run or Cedar Run!

AMAZING!!!

Absolutely amazing! The stars from the property at midnight till 3am… AMAZING!?! The house…AMAZING!?! The listing and pictures do not do it justice! Plenty of room the internet can get a bit slow but don’t worry there are dvds and VHS and board games. It’s raining don’t worry they have a screened in porch! Same for the bugs! 2 fire pits! The wild life saw a big buck! The trail rail… tomb flats! Wolf’s Italian hoagies! I cannot say enough great things about this stay!?!?!?

Great Home in the PA Wilds

The house is beautiful knotty pine with a massive vaulted ceiling and loft. Everything worked great. The only small surprise was that you apparently can't drink the tap water. While Pine Creek rail trail and excellent fishing, hiking, etc. is very close, most anything else is at least an hour away. However, the scenery is spectacular on the way!

Beautiful Anniversary Get Away

We celebrated 34 years of marriage this past weekend at this beautiful cabin surrounded by sounds of sweet birds and peaceful evenings on the porch swing. Greeted with a welcome note and gift, we were so impressed at the little touches~ the comfy bed, the warmth of the decorations, the spaciousness (room for 8!) and the deck and porch, fire pit and basement activities. The landscape was even impeccably done. The hosts were available and so gracious. Furry family joined us, was respectful of the property and also felt at home. Hoping to visit again with our grown up kids next time! Best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in~ you won’t be disappointed! Thanks so much to our hosts!! ❤️

Nice quiet cabin in the woods

This cabin was very nice, clean and modern. we really enjoyed the screened in deck and spent a good bit of our time while at the cabin out there. On the second day of our stay the weather didn't cooperate, and we received about 3 inches of rain which caused widespread flooding and unfortunately for us an 8-hour power outage. we managed to stay positive and hoped the power would come back on before dark which it did. our biggest fear is that we would be unable to operate the bathrooms (toilet) and that cooking would be limited to the outdoor grill. I completely understand that the power outage was not the hosts fault, and we were not at all unhappy with our stay. I would however suggest that they try to make some provisions for power outages in the future. Possibly candles or battery powered lanterns for back up lighting and either a backup generator or at least store water in the basement that could be used to operate the toilets. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who loves the outdoors and is looking for a peaceful stay in the woods with all of the comforts of home.

Bike Ride

The house was beautiful inside and out. The small touches such as the basket in the bathroom with things you may have forgotten was thoughtful. It was great not having to bring sheets and towels since our main focus was bike riding. The home had a very cozy feel. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice clean well kept.

I have been staying at cabins in this valley for over 3 decades, this is the nicest, cleanest one. Everything worked ,not even a torn screen anywhere to let mosquitos in. Wow!
