Newly renovated cozy cabin, walking distance to beach and park.

Escape to beautiful Higgins lake! Enjoy all the amenities of this cabin and what it has to offer. It is in an ideal location. It is a 5 minute walk to the lake where there is a public beach and park access. This adorable cabin sleeps 6. 2 bedrooms, one bath. Queen master, full lower bunk with twin top and queen pull out sleeper. Enjoy the convenience of launching your boat near by or jumping on a ATV/ snowmobile trail, that is just within a few miles away. You can enjoy a bonfire in the backyard, which is beautifully landscaped. The cabin has a modern rustic feel, which was just totally renovated on the inside. Beautiful new kitchen, open to the living room. Internet available, local tv, Air/heat if needed. Plenty of parking. No pets. No smoking. Restaurants-bar, party store in area. Starting May 24, 2025 until September 14, 2025 we are only booking weekly rentals (Sunday to Sunday)

House, property, renter, and location were all unbelievable. Couldn’t ask for a better place to spend our Labor Day vacation! Or any vacation at that matter!! The house is so clean, cute, and comfy. Nice place.

Very nice updated home. Cleand and cozy. I block from the water. Great area. 5he only thing we had issue with was wis there is no thermostat. Got a bit chilly at night.

Perfect for Family Gathering

This cottage was a great location and exactly what we needed, as we were visiting family who lives locally. Would plan to stay again when needed. Communicating with Tara (owner/host) was easy and informative. Thank you!!

Cozy cabin!

Appreciated the clean rooms, cozy bed, and spacious living room area. WiFi was strong, for those who need to work while they're visiting. Plenty of parking and easy access to everything we needed. Very easy to walk to the lake. Host was responsive to our questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Up north get away

We booked this lake house last minute for Memorial Day weekend. This home is PERFECT. We have stayed at a lot of rentals in Michigan. This one was the absolute best. CLEAN, organized, high end finishes, garage to use, not one but two refrigerators, fire pit, close to lake and trails for orv….i could go on and on. The beds are comfortable. Everything is light, bright and fresh. Definitely a place we would book again!

Newly Renovated

My husband and I spent Labor Day Weekend in the Cozy Cabin on Higgins Lake. We loved everything about this cabin. The entire cabin has been newly renovated with super decorating skills. We were thrilled to be located just around the corner from the rest of our family. Everyone in town is super friendly and nice. A fantastic band played music from the 90’s on Sunday night. It was a lot of fun dancing in the streets. We hope to return next year.

Amazing home and vaction

My wife and I where looking at a long weekend on higgins lake with our family. We reached out to the owners thru vrbo and they answered every question we had and almost immediately if not it was within 2 min. They hit a home run on there home (beautifuly remodeled, very clean, fully stocked from board games, wifi, big washer and dryer, kitchen to outdoor grill and bonfirebl and it was stocked with games and activities for all) Our trip was so perfect they even sent us a map of the lake as we brought our boat on areas to go see to areas to watch out for as a boat owner this is super big on a new lake your unfamiliar with!!!! Thank you so much for a amazing stay and we will definitely be back!!!

Higgins trip 2023

Place was great. Everything is newly renovated and new. New furniture, cooking tools, big screen tv, etc. Walking distance to public beach. Had a great weekend on THE most beautiful lake in Michigan

We had a great time at this house. It was as listed, no surprises. The owners are very friendly and responsive! I would definitely rent here again.

It’s is in a great area. Restaurant across the street. Beach is a 5 minute walk. Party store less than a half mile away. Boat launch within a half mile. State parks within 5 miles. Great area to hang out at the water or if you enjoy walking there is a road that runs along the lake within minutes.
