Exactly what we needed

We spent the weekend here to celebrate our family Christmas and it was wonderful. The house is adorable and you can tell this house is a labor of love. The owners were easy to communicate with and quick with replies. The kitchen was very well stocked! I was impressed by the variety of cooking pots and pans. It was a wonderful restful weekend and as we drove away my husband and I both talked about how we'd love to come back.

Warm and Cozy Stay!

We spent the weekend enjoying some of hi get in Duluth. We didn’t want a hotel so this VRBO was perfect! Just 20 minutes from Duluth and easy to get to! Great things about the house: the Christmas tree on the porch was lit upon our arrival!, beds are super comfy, coffee bar was great, plenty of seating and extra towels! So much thought put into the needs of the guests… even a USB port on the nightstand! A great little place to stay with family!

Quick stop in Cloquet

We stopped in Cloquet as a layover spot to continue north. The home was beautifully decorated, so many extra little touches to make the stay very comfortable. My dog also loved that he got is own bed too!

Quaint and cozy

Older style house that suited our needs. Had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable and the mattresses seemed new. Only slight drawback, which was to be expected in an older house, was that the floors creaked very loudly if someone got up in the middle of the night. We would stay again here again if the need was to be.

House on the Hill - Fall trip

Very clean and thoughtfully supplied with everything we and our two furry friends needed. Quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds, handy kitchen set up and good TV and wifi.

6 Night Stay at the House on the Hill

The home is old but I liked the floor plan. Plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was well equipped. Very nice to have a washer/dryer with detergent, etc. I liked the bed comfort - slept great! I didn't like the driveway at all. I would highly recommend installing a hold bar in the tub, having more washcloths (only 3 provided), having instructions for the television channels. On a personal note, if a blue opal/sterling silver pair of earrings are found - they are mine. I looked and looked but couldn't find them. Thank you.

Very well organized especially the Kitchen and Bathroom. The VRBO pictures were accurate for the facility that we stayed at. The driveway was somewhat run down. In one bedroom, the trundle bed was somewhat challenging to navagate. Overall we all enjoyed our stay. Thanks for your attention to detail.

Wedding weekend stay

Cute, little house. Slept 6 of us well. Cloquet is near Jay Cooke State Park. Driveway is very steep. If you have a low slung car, you’ll need to park on the street. Thoughtful amenities-espresso maker, toiletries, etc.

Short stay

The house was great, directions made it easy to find and access. The place was immaculate and the coffee bar was amazing. After a long fishing trip the comfy beds were really awesome too. The only draw back for us was the steep slope of the off street parking that made parking our truck and boat trailer in the driveway pretty much impossible. That said we were able to easily park on the street; those not pulling a boat will easily be able to access their driveway. Thanks for letting us share your house!

Cute Craftsman

Our family stayed at this cute craftsman home for a baseball tournament in Duluth. We were thrilled to find a 3 bedroom home just 20 minutes away from our destination for a much more reasonable price than being in the heart of Duluth. The home had all the amenities we needed and the host was super kind and responsive! We would definitely stay again.

Relaxing

Extremely clean. Plenty of linens. Modern kitchen. My favorite part of the house was how relaxing the atmosphere is. We spent so much time in conversation and reading that we never even used the TV.

Relax in a beautiful area

Our daughter’s family was downhill biking at Spirit Mountain and we wanted to be to close to help with the younger children. It worked out great. The house was comfortable for us and for our dog. We were close to Spirit Mountain and to Duluth. We enjoyed the beautiful hiking at Jay Cook State Park. The house was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a fun, relaxing long weekend. Thank you! We definitely want to come back again.

Cloquet Get Away

We thought this was a great place to stay for three sisters on a weekend away up north. It was really nice to have the three bedrooms and a quiet neighborhood to relax at night. Everything was well stocked, clean and comfortable.

Perfect quiet and beautiful neighborhood

A one night stop between the BWCAW and the Twin Cities. Perfect in every way. All the amenities, comfortable beds, and super clear instructions. Note: the relatively steep driveway needs to be replaced quite soon, otherwise the walk up the hill from the street might be challenging for people with mobility issues.
