Permit# PL 15-103. Only 10 minutes from downtown, this home overlooks the St. Louis river. Perfect for fishing (the boat launch and fishing pier are 50 yds away) viewing the fall colors, skiing (Spirit Mt. is nearby) and hiking the many nearby trails

The space
It has a deck off the kitchen that has a beautiful view of the St. Louis river. Its especially scenic with the fall colors.
Located only 8 miles from downtown.

Guest access
Deck with gas grill. Fire pit in yard, game room in basement with fireplace, billiard room, ping pong room, refrigerator, and bar. Central air, attached 2 car heated garage, internet, DVD player and cable TV.
Guests have use of washer and dryer and garage

Beautiful view out the back patio door. Luckily fall leaves were still in all their splendor. Smaller older house with lots of character. Suited our needs. The only thing I would suggest is a railing for the steps from the kitchen to the basement landing. The risers are higher than normal and sometimes hard to maneuver.

It was a nice clean house with room to move around in, we played games and made food in the house and it was very roomy!

Clean, comfortable house with deck overlooking the river. Quiet neighborhood but quick access to anything in Duluth. Bonus: 3 main floor bedrooms for those of us with a touch of arthritis! Thanks, Larry!

What a great house to see Duluth and the North Shore of Lake Superior. House was immaculate and in great shape especially given its age. Easy walk to St Louis river estuary and Spirit Mountain (fun in summer too). Really appreciate how well stock its was with paper towel, toilet paper, spices, laundry detergent etc. Our teens love the pool table and ping pong table in the basement. Was a home away from home!

Great Home!

We enjoyed our stay at this home. The first night the weather was nice and we enjoyed the great deck view of the river, had a fire, and played horseshoes. Got to see the beautiful sunrise over the river. We also enjoyed the use of the pingpong table and pool table in the lower level. It was a great location and easy to get on to I35. Would rent again when we come back to stay a few days in Duluth. Larry, the owner, was very prompt in communicating whenever I asked a question. We had a fun time and so much nicer to come back to a home instead of a hotel after a day of hiking. It felt like staying at a cabin home.

Nice Property by the River on the Outskirts of Duluth

The house was very clean and well-organized. It is a nice neighborhood near the St. Louis River. We had everything we needed. There was more than adequate parking. The host responded quickly when we reached out. Would stay there again.

The property was everything stated online. Quiet neighborhood, but close to everything. Well furnished very clean home. Definitely somewhere we'd go again.

Ski trip

Four of us stayed in Larry’s place for a short ski weekend and it was perfect - great location (between Spirit Mtn and Jay Cooke state park), close to Duluth but in a quiet, beautiful area, lots of extra towels, paper products and kitchen supplies! Would definitely stay here again!

Weekend away as a family

The house was a perfect size for our group. We loved the pool table and ping pong table and using the fireplace down there. There was plenty of room for all of us to sit at the table and play games. The kitchen had most of everything you would need. Over all it was a great stay!

Mountain bike coaching base camp

This place has a great view of the St. Louis River and Lake Superior off in the distance. I loved the basement with ping pong table, pool table and bar. The 2-tiered deck and back yard were very inviting with moveable fire pit and horseshoe pit. The bedrooms were spacious, and the kitchen had everything we needed. I just need another reason to visit the area, so I can stay here again.

Great older home with beautiful view!

This is an older home in a quiet neighborhood with convenient access to downtown Duluth. There is a beautiful view to Lake Superior from the deck and rear windows of the house. The older home is well maintained and comfortable. The owner was quick to respond to any questions.
