Escape to this perfect sauna retreat and immerse yourself in the northern woods of Minnesota. Just minutes away from restaurants, bike trails, hiking, golf, beautiful Jay Cook State Park, and two other lakes. While your here enjoy the sauna, fishing, swimming, fires and your secluded surroundings. We look forward to welcoming you to our slice of paradise.

Great place and hosts. Cabin is clean and thoughtfully arranged. Location is convenient and easy to find, while also quiet and mostly private. Awesome rental.

The cabin was neat, cozy, and the perfect size for a relaxing getaway. Jacob was a wonderful host, and the property was quiet, peaceful, and very relaxing. The sauna was an especially nice treat, and my wife and I really enjoyed unwinding around the campfire in the evenings.We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing escape!

Jake was quick to answer any questions. Even brought us some dry firewood Very clean property. Had everything we needed. Quick drive to Jay Cooke State Park.

We had some trouble with the keypad when first arriving but the host responded right away to help us even though it was late so we appreciated that. Everything was clean and well maintained. The lake was unfortunately very low during our visit so it did not make for ideal swimming, but there was a nice array or water craft to use. We also enjoyed the sauna and the firepit.

Great find!

Booked this for my son to go dirt biking up north for the weekend. He stated cabin was clean, location was great and very peaceful! Communication with Jacob was great as well!

Great Vrbo, wish the weather would of been better but that is mother nature. Jacob was easy to communicate with and even offered to bring over dry wood since everything was wet from all the rain. Thank you Jacob!

The property was good. Good size for the 2 of us. The only thing we wish we would have known was what to do in the case of sever weather. It was supposed to be really bad the one night, luckily it broke up before it got to this area.

The cabin is cute and cozy! We loved using their paddle boards on the lake and playing corn hole and roasting sausages on the fire pit. The privacy is nice and it’s quiet which is also nice! I’m sad that we didn’t bring our dog as I felt like he would’ve enjoyed the lake and running around getting the zoomies lol. Funding the driveway was slightly difficult as it was a bit hard to see the numbers on the mailbox but other than that, it’s been amazing!Overall, if we were to come back to Duluth, we’d book the cabin again!

Beautiful land and cabin for 2 adults, 2 kids and a dog. It was perfect for us! The kids were never bored with all the indoor and outdoor games. Jacob was basically on call for any issues and checked in with us to make sure all is well. Highly recommend for your small family

Hidden gem! Perfect place to stay if you are visiting the Duluth/Cloquet area. The cabin was clean and had all the basics to make your stay comfortable. We loved the sauna and all the options available to enjoy the water, don't forget your fishing pole! The cabin was a short drive to Cloquet or Duluth, so you can enjoy those areas and then relax by the water at night. Our host was very accommodating and responded quickly to any questions we had. There were absolutely no issues and we highly recommend this cabin!

My wife and I are local to the Cloquet/Duluth area. We enjoy the piece and quite of the country, as well as the relaxed pace. I enjoy outdoor sports like Swimming, skiing, mountain biking, and anything to do with the woods. I like being a host, because I love to introduce people to new experiences, and to share the experiences I love.

The neighborhood is very quite, and although being within driving distance to Duluth and the North shore, the property feels very secluded and private.

The small lake that this property is located on, has no public access. Even on the busiest weekends of the summer there may be not a single boat on the water. The fishing in the lake can often be exceptional depending on the previous winter. We do ask that all fish be caught and released to keep the fish population up. Also being a smaller lake, the water warms up very quickly in the summer, and makes for a long swimming season. The maximum depth of the lake fluctuates from about 17-20 feet in the middle. The edges of the lake are pretty shallow and weedy, so we recommend bringing paddle boards for getting to swimming depth.
