Cozy home 1st floor of a duplex located on tributary to bay in toms river.

House at 3408 thistle ave toms river NJ sits right on the water (tributary to barnegat bay) and is located in a quiet neighborhood. 2 beds 1 bath (king size/queen size beds). It is the 1st floor of a duplex. Property has sperate entrances for top and bottom floor to ensure privacy of guests. Renters will have access to dock 2 kayaks 1 bicycle and a boogie board for beach and bay fun. Guests are also able to fish and crab right from dock in back yard. House is 5 min drive from seaside heights, 5 min from catus Island and 10 min from island beach state park. There are outdoor picnic tables charcoal barbeque and small fire place for outside dining and relaxing. House has wifi/ tv with cable and access to Netflix and other streaming networks. Also a few board games provided. Property is available at $250 a night Mon thru thurs and $325 a night fri thru sun. Holiday rates may differ. There is a 4 night minimum stay and prices may fluctuate as it gets later in the season. There is also a 15% discount for renters that stay a week or longer. The house is professionally cleaned between guests we do not charge a cleaning fee but leaving a tip for them is appreciated. We do ask that you keep the place broom cleaned condition when you leave or an extra charge may be applicable. Guest will also be responsible for any damages caused to the property during stay. Thin walls and musty smell

We had a lovely time because we were in town for a friend’s wedding, but I wouldn’t be inclined to stay here again. There was a musty smell that permeated, I think the furniture is pretty old. Additionally, this house has a separate 2nd floor apartment and when someone comes or goes to that apartment, it sounds like someone is entering the VRBO because the walls are so thin.

Awful!! Trust me when I say this! STAY AWAY

This place is a dump and I wish I could post pictures of this place! I do not even know where to start. The smell or the filth everywhere! All I know is that whoever stayed here before and gave great reviews must have been blind because this was far far from exceptional! From the fridge having left overs in it to the freezer having half eaten ice cream, a container of frozen soup and OHH lets not forget the frozen fish in a freezer bag!! Gross! The shower had dirt everywhere and the towels had stains on them. The toilet had fungus in it. The floors had dirt and whatever else they did not want to sweep up and swept so much dirt under the rugs it wasn`t even funny! The kitchen sink and the scrub brush looked like someone wiped up dog poop with it. The smell was so awful that we had to go get Lysol to try and kill the smell. We had to go buy bath and hand towels because we were not going to use them . Also the A/C did not work in one room and this place had 3 mini splits. I could go on and on about this place! We left after one night and would have left sooner if we could have. So if you want to take your chances go right ahead but trust me when I say this, STAY AWAY from this place unless you like living in awful conditions of awful smells and dirt everywhere you look... When I asked about a code for check in I was told the door would be unlocked and that the house key would be on kitchen table.. What?? Totally not cool.. I sure wish I could post the pictures!!

Not a perfect stay!

Beautiful location, so nice wake up in a morning and have a cup of coffee outside next to the water and enjoy peaceful relaxing atmosphere…however to get there not so easy, terrible communication, the cleanliness of the house kind of ok, but had very strong smell of cigarettes…the only good thing was clean and comfortable beds.

Fantastic Bay Getaway!

My boyfriend and I stayed after prom for 2 days. The property was beautiful and local to the shore. We had a great time and enjoyed the amenities!

Business Trip

We had the best time. The unit was well appointed and clean. The neighborhood and lagoon was lovely. We enjoyed the fire pit and fished. Everything was beyond our expectations. I wish we could’ve stayed longer. The host was available to answer our many questions immediately. This will be the only unit we use the next time we’re in Jersey on business. Very nice.

We stayed for the weekend while visiting our friends and family in the area.. it was perfect for us! Quick trip over the bridge puts you into Seaside Heights and access to other shore points via route 35. Owner was super welcoming and we had access to the water right at the property which was such a nice feature.

Such a Nice Stay

Amazing location and atmosphere. You definitely feel welcomed and at home as soon as you step inside. I definitely want to stay here again. A short uber ride or drive to Seaside. Really loved it here.

Weekend Getaway

Wonderful stay! Property is perfect distance to beach and boardwalk! Also loved that property is right on the lagoon and we were able to go crabbing and just enjoy the weather in the back yard! We will definitely be back!
