About this space
Newly updated 3 bedroom, 2 bath PLUS office space home on Sunrise Beach with AMAZING views of Mt. Rainier.

This beach front home was taken down to the studs in 2020, featuring a brand new kitchen, floors, electrical, bathrooms, and MORE.

This home is VERY private and secluded. Watch seals and boats go by. Relax on the huge deck, or enjoy the open concept living/dining/kitchen on the main floor.

An oasis of peace, quiet, and tranquility with only a 10 minute drive to town.
The space
This is a HIKE IN PROPERTY. Parking is up on the street only, and you must walk down a private drive, path, and on a sidewalk for approximately 6 to 8 minutes. If you have mobility difficulty, please NOT book.

Memorial Day weekend

The house is very cute with amazing views of the Puget Sound. We saw bald eagles, harbor porpoises, seals, and cranes as well as other birds. The walk in to the property from where you park is a little bit of a haul when you’re bringing your stuff in at check in and out at check out (especially a hill at the end on the way out) but otherwise isn’t terrible. Overall would stay here again.

Views, Wildlife, Peace, Oh My!

Location so unique, and being right on the water with no busy roads nearby makes for a totally calm and inviting vibe. I saw a whale, dolphins, sea lion, harbor seals, herons, and a sea otter enjoyed coming up onto the property. Parking and walk are legit, definitely not for mobility impaired. Suggest bringing a wagon or use the wheelbarrows on site. But we loved it! House had comfy beds and sufficient kitchen stuff (albeit not tons). Bathrooms and main areas all updated nicely. Easy to Get into Gig Harbor as well.

Peaceful Perfection!!!

I chose this location due to its close proximity to my parents. We truly enjoyed sitting on the deck, the beach (when the tide was down during the day), and looking out the huge picturesque windows. We saw deer, seals, dolphins, ducks and a sea otter. The quiet and peaceful location was really nice and my parents commented on how much they enjoyed it and could relax. The home itself is well appointed with beautiful decorations, comfortable furniture and beds. My 7 year old claimed the office as his own drawing room. And he and my 14 year old really enjoyed playing with the Legos and reading books. The grocery store, restaurants and marina were very close. We highly recommend Anthony's at Gig Harbor. We ate there 3 times... We really could not have asked for anything more as we had everything we needed.

Relaxing weekend

The property was perfect. It is described accurately and did not disappoint. We saw a couple of seals from the deck. And an eagle flew right by the dining room window on our last evening.

Wonderful!

Clean, well equipped, quiet, comfortable and stunning views. Jorge and his family welcomed us with Madeira wine, sweets, fruit and flowers. They were always available via WhatsApp to answer any questions. Not. One. Complaint. We would like to stay here again.

Gig harbor stay

As always it is a beautiful stay within gig harbor sunrise beach regardless of the weather. Everything was perfect and cozy. The only downfall is that hike back to your vehicle parked on the mountain side, this was ok for me, however not recommended for those with mobility and stamina difficulties.

Cozy stay in Gig Harbor

Truly as close to the water as you can get! House was well furnished and nicely decorated for a comfortable stay. The walk down to the house is paved and mostly along the water, which was pleasant. Hope to return in the future!

Stunning stay - already want to go back!

The view from this property is breathtaking. We spent the days watching sea lions and seals go by and taking in the stunning scenery. On sunny days the view of Mt Rainier is picturesque. The description of the house is accurate that this is a “hike in” property - you park at the top of the hill near the mail boxes and trash cans and walk down about 8 minutes to the house, in front of and behind some other houses. This made arrival and departure a bit of a workout with luggage, but we thought it was worth it. The house itself is lovely, equipped with extra blankets and space heaters and a full kitchen that we utilized for prepping some Thanksgiving dishes. We saw the neighbors from time to time who were very friendly. It was about an 11 minute drive to downtown Gig Harbor (after you’ve gotten to your car). Erin was very detailed in checking in and checking out process and was very responsive. We cannot wait to return!

Beautiful home on the water

We all loved Erin's place in Gig Harbor. We saw otters, seals many deer. It was very relaxing sitting on the deck in the morning with a cup of tea. Erin is a wonderful host and was quick and responsive to any inquiries. As far as the "hike" to her place, it is not terribly difficult and we had no issues but could see where someone with orthopedic problems could have a hard time with it. We absolutely loved the location and the house. The directions to find it were spot on. Beds were comfy and kitchen had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing!

This was one of the best places we have stayed!! It was so quiet and peaceful. Exactly what we needed. The house was great, so clean and loved the views!! We will definitely be back.

Worth the hike.

The most unique aspect of this property was the hike to it. We didn't mind the hike (but it is not for those with mobility issues). It was a bit awkward walking close to several houses with many windows looking out. (Not so private for them). However all the neighbors were friendly and were used to that. The house was clean and freshly updated. We were there for a conference, so unfortunately, we spent very little time on the property. I would like to return to enjoy the setting.

Great beach stay

We had an amazing time! The views of the water, Mt. Rainier, water, and sea life were unparalleled. It is a little walk into the property like other reviews mentioned but we didn’t mind it so much. It makes the place feel secluded, which we enjoyed. Contacting Erin was easy and she was always quick to respond and deliver any requests. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to enjoy a quiet getaway.

Gorgeous view, great house

Clean, bright home with deck over the water, & a great kitchen. We bought groceries at Harbor Greens, a fabulous store, on the way in. There is a lovely park a short walk from the house, & if you want to go into town, you need to drive..

Quiet harbor getaway

Great property right on the water. Very peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed walks along the beach at low tide. Saw a few seals swimming nearby. Wished we were able to stay longer.

Breathtaking and Relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay in Gig Harbor. The view of Mt Rainier is magnificent. The house is freshly updated, very comfortable, clean and was well stocked from the kitchen to the bathrooms and laundry. The gentle sound of the water was relaxing and restorative. Erin was very clear about the walk to the house, and it wasn't a problem for us at all. We picked fresh blackberries from the abundant bushes along the beach. This house was a great find and I highly recommend it.

40th Birthday Ladies Weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the beach house! The deck was perfect for an outdoor yoga experience with a local yoga instructor. The walk is an experience, not a challenge, and would visit again in a heartbeat.

Clean, fresh beach cottage with unbelievable views of Mt Rainer

Ultra relaxing and peaceful environment at the end of Sunrise beach. Home was totally updated and very, very nice.. Daily visits from seal, otter family, herons, eagle. Exploring the beach 15 steps from your door. 4-5 minute walk to car was a cool experience with a nice sized buck grazing off the path at dusk each night.. The view of Mt Rainer was UNREAL.. The view is so big and such a visual feast your brain has a hard time processing.. Left with some great pictures and great memories!

No Grill

You don’t realize how much you miss a grill until you stay in a house on the water during the 4th of July. Nothing like microwave s’mores. Very clean house, that was nice. Had to rewatch the sheets on the bed however, they smelled musky. We followed the instructions for check out including hauling the garbage up the hill. The parking situation was a mess. Perhaps due to the holiday. We received lots of emails of what we can’t do on the property. Fireworks was a big concern because of the trees. The neighbors along the row of houses certainly didn’t care as they lit fireworks in celebration. It was a nice stay , it just wasn’t worth the hassle for the 4th of July. Better suited for a couples quiet retreat.
