Ryan and Molli were wonderful hosts and you can tell they take pride in hosting and providing a spotless, comfortable place for their guests. The house was even better than expected and was in a super quiet and tranquil community. It was also very close to many attractions, restaurants and the Petowski State Park was just minutes away. Inside the home, very well organized, clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. Would love to return again, thank you both again for a great stay.

This place is perfect for a ski trip up north. This is our third time staying at Ryan and Molli’s base camp cottage — it’s thoughtfully set up and so comfortable for families. And ridiculously close to both Boyne Highlands and Nubs Nob.

Ski Trip

Great place to stay for a weekend getaway with friends! The hosts are extremely nice and the house was clean, spacious and looked just like the pictures. Would stay here again!

Awesome location and cozy cabin.

We spent a few days in the area going to the Highlands and Nub's Nob. The kids had a blast and this was one of the most conveniently stocked rentals I have ever had.

Lovely home with a cozy feel. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The house was very clean. We would stay there again. Also the location was perfect for skiing at the Highlands. There were several nice restaurants nearby.

Excellent communication with owners so we knew exactly how to check in and out. Property was beautiful and well maintained in a wonderful neighborhood. Peaceful!

Fantastic stay!

We had a great time! Wish ski conditions were better, but right around the corner from Nubs Nob entrance. The house was great! Loved the games available, everything was clean and well stocked.

Family Ski Trip

Stayed at the A frame for our annual ski trip. House and ammenities were fantastic. Hosts were easy to work with. Everyone in our group enjoyed there time here.

Perfect. Host was top notch, cabin was very clean and well stocked with anything needed. Great location for our ski trip. Highlands one day and Nubs another. We really enjoyed the fire place and sauna after skiing. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great rental.

great ski vacation!

We had a fantastic stay. Great location, across the street from Nubs Nob where are family skied all weekend. The house is beautiful and a great place to hang out in. Ryan and Molli were very communicative and responsive and great to work with. Five stars all around!

Super ski weekend at Nubs

Our family stayed 3 nights at this lovely A-frame cottage. It is truly a perfect setup for anyone looking to have a weekend (or longer!) ski vacation in Harbor Springs. The house is spacious but also feels cozy and warm. It had everything we needed—the hosts were very thoughtful in how they set it up. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Ideal Up North Ski Vacation

Our group had the most lovely time at Ryan & Molli's "Base Camp" A-frame cottage. It was extremely convenient to get to Nub's Nob (a 2-3 minute drive) and the cottage itself was so cozy and comfortable. Everyone in our group agreed they wanted to come back again next year. We had the best family ski vacation due in no small part to how much we enjoyed this rental facility. It's a gem!

40th Birthday Weekend

We booked this home in the heart of winter for an all adult 40th Birthday weekend. There were six total adults (3 couples) and having three separate bedrooms and baths for each couple was ideal. The sauna was highly rated addition for our long weekend between skiing and hiking. This home is a very short drive to both Highlands and Nub’s Nob. The home was just as described and suitably stocked for cooking in for all of our meals. The owners were very friendly and responsive to inquires. Would highly recommend and would absolutely book again in the future.

Great place for skiing

First of all Ryan and Molli are great hosts, they were very accommodating to us and the listing matched if not surpassed what's shown. It was very clean and very well appointed for everything we needed. We had three adults and three young children and there was plenty of space to stretch our legs after spending all day skiing - it never felt cramped and everyone had their own space. You cannot beat the location for the proximity to skiing - we spent three days at nubs nob, it was less than a 5 minute round trip. I cannot understate how enjoyable this trip was simply due to the house - it was as stress free a stay as possible, the kids could hang out in their room or in the basement after skiing to decompress and just chill out, and give us adults some space. We are looking forward to, and hopeful, that we'll be able to stay again - it was an absolute treat. As a family we've made this ski trip for a number of years with kids and this was easily the best stay we've had, hands down.
