Great place for our adult kids and grandkids to have a long weekend. Beach was perfect for little kids to play on and enter the water. Guest house perfect for my daughter and her young family.

Such wonderful, cute, clean cabins! It was perfect for our two families for our stay. The water slide was a fun attraction for our kids and the big backyard was perfect for them to play the yard games that are available in the shed. The host, Jodie, was so sweet and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. I really can't emphasize how wonderful she was!

Our family of five adults, three kids visited from CA for a family reunion. Grew up in ND and the lakes so spending five nights on Detroit Lakes was very special. The sandy beach, beautiful landscaping, comfortable, clean and cozy cabins brought back wonderful lake memories. Kitchen was well equipped, plenty of linens, very clean. The grand kids had a blast! Oh and no lake itch!Thank you to the hosts. You have a gem on a beautiful beach.

Great spot for a family vacation!

Our family had a great vacation at this property! Mike and Jodie have thought of everything. The cabins are very well stocked! Communication with them was easy and they were so accommodating! The cabins were very clean. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice Property needs some minor maintenance. Trees trimmed entering roadway. very blind when you pull out. Needs a brace on screen door so people don't push on screen. Need light on ceiling fan in living room very dark in room. few rubber mats here and there. one by faucet for sure. TV didn't work in cabin didn't look like it was even tied into house. nice to relax later in evening to see what is going on. Had a good time. Our Grandson had a blast on the slide

Since your stay, we’ve installed a brand-new TV in the cabin (we didn’t realize it wasn’t working properly), reviewed and trimmed any branches near the driveway, added an additional rug runner by the sink, and confirmed that all lighting throughout the home is functioning properly. We also encourage guests to reach out during their stay if anything isn’t meeting their expectations. Our goal is to address concerns as quickly as possible so they can fully enjoy their vacation, and we’re always happy to help. Family Getaway

Family of 5 for a four day stay and it was everything we were looking for. Beach was perfect for swimming and lounging. Good fishing off the dock. Both cabins were very clean and had everything anybody would ever need. Host Matt was very accommodating and communication was great. Would definitely recommend if Detroit Lakes is a destination your planning on.

Labor day at DL

Wonderful, charming cabin and guest cabin. Well stocked with dishware etc, towels etc., cleaning materials etc. but few condiments. Cabin readily cools with north/south facing. Beach is fantastic. Very safe neighborhood. Matt was very responsive to our questions. We were fortunate to have absolutely fantastic weather. Bravo!

Summer Blast

This was the perfect place for our family gathering with its beautiful outdoor spaces and spacious cabins we were all able to find our own spaces to relax and recharge We enjoyed many hours talking in the fern garden and in the porch but it was the sandy beach and lake that saw most of the action. It seemed like someone was either sitting in the chaise lounges or floating in the water all the time! Oh, and those modified beach chair towels were a huge it! We all want to come back next year!

Everything we were hoping for and MORE

Seven night stay and wish it was more!!! Communication and check in great experience. Beach and swimming area perfect for our four grandchildren ages 6 to 3 as well as the six adults. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Appreciated storage building near dock. Guesthouse perfect for additional sleeping space and also well stocked. We spent many hours in porch area relaxing and enjoying the view. Neighbors were friendly. Natural property boards provided privacy and shade. Highly recommend for a true cabin experience with all the perks. Oh and the garden area was fabulous, shows this place loved by owners. Thanks Matt and Jody for a wonderful family vacation!!!
