AUTUMN MIST - Log Cabin on 4.5 wooded acres with 800 feet of state stocked trout stream frontage.

Located between Boone & West Jefferson. Convenient to the New River and Blue Ridge Parkway.

Main Level: Greatroom with cathedral ceiling, gas logs and Flatscreen Smart Roku TV . Well equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, dishwasher, keurig coffee maker, blender, coffee grinder, standard coffee maker & all cookware, stoneware. Large windows to enjoy the views and creek. Comfy sofa & chair. Main level bedroom offers queen bed and Smart TV for streaming. Open the sliding doors off greatroom to the large open and part covered deck with Adirondacks and picnic table overlooking the trout stream and wooded privacy. Dine on the covered porch with patio set, gas firetable and gas grill. Main level bath offers custom tile walk in shower & double vanity.

Upper level: loft bedroom offers king bedroom set, reading chair & ottoman.

Lower Level: gameroom offers 2nd sitting area, slate billiard table, Foosball Table, Flatscreen Smart Roku TV. Full bath with shower, washer & dryer.

Lower level covered deck enjoy the hot tub and high top table set.

Down by the creek, enjoy smores and stories by the open firepit or let the kids splash in the water. Creekside picnic table.

Other amenities: WIFI, gas fire table, wood firepit by creek, portable crib (pack n play), books, games, Dora play house, blocks, child/pet gate, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, gas grill, extra blankets.

Dog Friendly: Small dog (25lbs or less) accepted with prior notice and approval. 2 dog max. No Puppies or other animals.

The upstairs is a loft area, so the bathroom is located on the main level, which may not be as convenient for everyone. The cabin was beautiful and Sherrie was so helpful. Plenty of amenities and close enough, but not too close to town. Definitely recommend staying here! It was the perfect spot for my honeymoon!

The cabin was really nice. Overall, there was nothing that would keep us from booking it again. Once we checked in, we didn’t move the truck until it was time to go home. The cabin was clean and well appointed. The hot tub was fantastic, the property grounds were wonderful, and the check in process was easy. The only thing keeping it from being five stars, is there were a few things that were just a little run down. Light switch with the cover over the actual switch was missing, the upper deck hadn’t been pressure washed in quite awhile and had mold growing on it, and the worst one was the knob for the dryer was missing. It would have been nice to be able to throw our towels in the dryer after using the hot tub. But, those are all minor things. We would definitely rent this place again, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice little cabin with a hot tub, pool table, that was fairly secluded.

With the large amounts of rain our area has experienced, we understand the decks may need washing down. The dryer knob is on order. We really enjoyed the property, listing is very accurate, very private but close to West Jefferson for eating ant shopping. Enjoyed building bonfire by the creek and finishing up the evening in the hot tub and game room. Would stay again!

Great family getaway!

What a fabulous weekend getaway! We felt central to everything , ASU football game , hikIng at Cascade falls and Elk Knob, and a fabulous skate park just down the road!

This was perfect for myself and 2 kids. They played in and very much enjoyed the stream just below the cabin. This location was an excellent base camp- short drive to lots of mountain area fun- The cabin was secluded, very clean and easy to access. Had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommended if it’s a good fit for your group.

Cabin in the woods

Nice little cabin located just above the creek. Very private, convenient location near town. Pet friendly which is a must for us. Enjoyed our stay.

We stayed a week for our honeymoon and it was so so beautiful!! Centrally located we will return!
