Our second time staying at this property and we will be back! Well appointed, comfortable and such a great view. The creek is so peaceful and the nearby trail - literally steps away - makes for a wonderful morning (or evening) walk or run. The complex is quiet, yet so convenient to restaurants, shopping and access to the lakes and downtown. The king bed is very comfortable (we didn't try the bunk beds, but our granddaughter liked them during our previous stay) and having two baths is a plus. The living area is attractive and has everything you need, with lots of comfy seating. Have we used "comfortable" a lot? Well, that's what this property is. A lovely mountain home away from home.

I dropped something under the small couch in the middle of the room & moved the couch to retrieve it & the floor was full of trash!

Place was clean and I appreciated how well appointed the kitchen supplies were. Only issue is there could have been better directions as to how the Thermostat worked.

We stayed at Creekside Mountain just after Memorial Day and were thrilled that the location was empty except for us! The room was clean and comfortable, the views were unobstructed and expansive, and the little creek that flows through the back meadow even had fish! Kitchen is well-stocked and the location is close to town and restaurants/stores and easy trip to Mammoth Ski Resort and nearby mountain lakes. Only conundrum was wondering where the heat vents were--then realized the ceiling must hold radiant heat features. Takes a bit longer than furnace to warm up, but stays nice and cozy. Fireplace insert took a few tries to get drafting, but plenty of firewood if that is your choice. Lots of heat from there, too. What a view!

First time in Mammoth Creek # 29

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented numerous units at Mammoth Creek. This was our first time in #29. The unit has been nicely updated. The unit matched the description and photos. Nicely furnished kitchen. The unit was clean. Management responded quickly with repairs to a bathrrom faucet and burned out light bulbs. Any good housekeeping service would have notified management of the problems. The dining light fixture does not hang over the dinng table. The bedrooms could use better or more lighting.
